Forgot about Myers...my bad. Myers is probably the best dman. But if other teams are looking to trade for a Jets D, the conversation begins and ends with Trouba (...or Myers). I'm not taking anything away from those other guys, but the real point is that Jets fans seriously overrate their players, especially on D.

Also apparently ABC trying to reboot the Muppet Show...

The only legit defenseman this team has is Trouba, then a bunch of semi capable backups. Byfuglien is more a utility guy than a straight up defenseman. The tenders have to do a lot more work than they should have...

Peach is a GREAT depth guy, but if he's starting for you, your line isn't good enough. 17to85 and I were saying that we'd love to see a big breakout year for Jake Thomas this year. Fully expecting Vega to play more like the NFL-level talent that he is, in 2015, and will chalk 2014 up to playing injured/

I'm expecting a bounce back year from Vega. I think (hope) his problems last year were due to playing hurt.

Again, as with the blog, it's highly sanitized with zero hard news content. I'm trying to figure what, exactly, the team gains from all this....is there anyone out there (even casual-at-best fans) that enjoys this stuff?

There's a good point -- because I really don't think he is. He's using *A* blog to give us the team's PR spin dressed up as *HIS* blog giving us his thoughts. The point is, if you're not going to give us something we aren't already getting elsewhere, then why bother at all?

I'm not sure I got anything out of this blog post that wasn't in the initial Draft-related article Tait did like 3 weeks ago. I fully respect that the team can't really divulge inside information, but then........what's the point of just regurgitating stuff we already know?

Yikes...some tough numbers, for sure. Not likely to get much of a look at the draft, but again, if he goes undrafted, I definitely bring him to camp.

Does Buff seem like the guy who likes the attention that comes from being the face of a franchise?? You guys are putting way too much weight into fan support being a determining factor. If we've learned nothing else, we've learned that most NHLers want to go somewhere that they're not noticed. They want to leave the rink and be able to hide from the world. This is why Winnipeg is in the Top 5 NTC markets...
