  1. Not sure about hop city but yes to the others. Good stuff!
  2. When youre a grown up, you will understand how great that taste is...
  3. If i *have* to drink generic mass produced stuff, Kokanee is the way to go. Craft stuff is what its all about tho. Good beer and good rye make life worth living. Just shoot me if i ever get into wine, tho. Gross.
  4. Alright, just got to the city... 1) Mike i did think you were black 2) Love the devolution of this thread 3) While im primarily a rye guy (crown or gibby's only), 17to85 got my girlfriend and i into beer snobbery quite heavily. I was a kokanee guy for a long time, but only drink craft beers now. I love a wheat ale, but a red is mighty fine. Buddy in town owns a liquor store and can order in anything, so we get a whole section of great stuff like Grizzly Paw, Wild Rose, Pumphouse, Granville Island, Fort Garry, Half Pints. Bottom line - life's too short to drink swill...
  5. Would be a huge fan of bringing the kid in. I like Palardy and Renaud, but O'Neill is a gooder, and that beard is something you could build a franchise around. Get 'er done, Mr. Walters!
  6. ...and still, somehow, better than us or Montreal. No question Hamilton is the logical choice after Toronto...
  7. Well, a surprising number of local media are picking the Bombers to win, but realistically this all comes down to Max Hall and the offense. If they produce, there's a good chance we can win. If it's more of the same, then it's more of the same. There's a "pre-celebrating" rye tasting happening at 17to85s house in Calgary this afternoon, so by game time we'll be in fine form.... GO BLUUUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Saw this piece today and while rolling my eyes hard, also laughed at the thought of Mike's reaction...
  9. bah...fixed now..
  10. Count me in the group that would choose Goltz ahead of Pierce at this point (...I think the whole "experience" argument is null and void when Pierce just can't get it done, even when healthy...) but at the same time, the OP just reeks of cherry picking to prove an already-jumped-to conclusion, rather than doing research to try and gain a conclusion.
  11. ...Seems most likely...
  12. Hopefully he can get healthy and get back here. Would love to have him back...
  13. Thanks Rich!! I really am a "Like" *****, but I think it helps limit the number of useless posts where I'd just say "Yeah, I agree...", so instead, I can just "Like" it...
  14. I am really sick of hearing about "In Cal Murphy's time!!" ....blah blah blah.....He was awesome. He died. **** off already...let's talk about the here and now.
  15. *golf clap* KBF...

  17. Liking everything I'm hearing so far from Miller and Walters. Let's see how it translates...
  18. Christ I haven't seen Spaceballs in awhile...that is a REALLY funny bit. Mel Brooks is a god...
  19. One thing that sometimes gets overlooked is just how young these players are. We put them on a pedastal because they're pro athletes, but they're stil just little kids for the most part. I think they can be forgiven for sometimes speaking without thinking everything through first. Hell, I'm 33 and I still do it far more than I should. Ya, they're pros and they need to act like it, but they're still human and just young'uns, for the most part.
  20. I'm reading some real revisionist history here...
  21. So many people are forgetting that Tim Burke was pretty much unanimously seen as the next great CFL head coach. There was all sorts of buzz that if we didn't find a way to hang on to him, he was going to be hired by whichever team had an opening next. Remember how freaked out we were when he nearly got the Hamilton gig? Only reason he didn't was because they got their "big fish" in Cortez. I know a lot of people are down on him now, but you gotta remember it wasn't that long ago when virtually everyone thought he was the next Cal Murphy...
  22. And damn it that I can't Like that comment...
  23. I don't think he's been even close to healthy all year, but because he's pretty much all we've got, he's had to play. When Matthews is fully healthy, he'll be back to "normal"...
  24. ftr, I tried to Like your post, Mr Dee, but I've apparently "reached my quota" for Likes....(I'm not a fan of that...) ...so I just wanted to know that I applaud your similar logic....
