  1. Attabe boys...lotta fight. Never out of it.
  2. Anyone following Arash Madani on Twitter?? It is UNREAL how angry that guy is toward the Bombers. I dunno if he was fired or he quit as their Comm's guy, but he is BITTER......
  3. Yeah, s'posin'. God I hate the Argo love...so very much.
  4. Some real nastiness brewing here...would like to know what prompted B-Stew to lose his ****...
  5. Gold on Gold is a level of hideous only outmatched by the White-on-White that Matt Sheridan wore. #MoreDimplesThanAGolfBall The sooner we can get rid of these monstrosities and get back to the royal blue retros, the better...
  6. Likely both...but good call on endurance!
  7. Pffffft....Rids. Know-nothing hack......
  8. Would definitely have to come way down from 325....be way too slow at that size. Especially at *only* 6'5"...hell, Doug Brown was 6'8" and just over 300, and he was way too fat. Had to come down to 290 or 295 (bigger difference than it would appear) in order to be able to run as much as is needed in the CFL...
  9. Cool, thanks. Well, here's hoping!!
  10. Bilukidi would be what....a DT or a DE up here?
  11. I'm a big fan of eternal optimism, while maintaining the ability to be critical. I will **** on this team when it's called for, but I'm always a fan and I'm always cheering. Sad as it may be, I'm not sure anything gives me as much joy in life as watching a Bomber win with a glass of rye in hand. Even a loss is still a Bomber game on TV....not much better!! always, Always ALWAYS: Go Blue!!
  12. The girlfriend is out for the evening, so a quiet night with a glass (bottle?) of rye and the Bomber game. Win or lose, this is a wonderful Thursday night in store. Go Blue!!!!!!
  13. Cornish didn't get one last week??? **** right off...I was only watching at a bar with no sound, but I coulda sworn that he punched one in. Damn it all to hell.....but I'll pick him again. Cornish.
  14. Yeah, my first thought after reading the Penton piece was that Poblah shouldn't be protected. Done nothing to deserve that courtesy. Etienne and Kohlert need to be around next year.
  15. Bottom line, as shitty as this team was this year, there's few things better than a summer night watching football, especially at the new barn. Hell, 17to85 and I have batted around the idea of getting STAMPS seasons (blech...) just because we love watching CFL ball that much. If I was back home, I'd go to the ends of the earth to get Bombers seasons...
  16. Yeeeeesh, that's an atrocious list of "we didn't even bother trying..." Need a lot more experience, and a lot less "these were the cheapest guys that were actually willing to come to Winnipeg". Time to open the bank and pay the right people whatever they need to come here.
  17. Herp! Better than Mack! Derp11!1!!
  18. But he's on TV! TSN won't just hire any fool.... oh wait... I like him more than a lot of others guys they've used. Doesn't make him any less of an idiot. He and Mike Johnson are just complete *******...
  19. But he's on TV! TSN won't just hire any fool.... oh wait...
  20. I'll stick with Cornish -- thanks!
  21. oh? Tell me what they are cause to me it seems like business as usual here from a players perspective. We don't know who the GM will be, we don't know who will be coaching, there's still no established star veteran players here, all we've done is trade a veteran qb for a backup receiver and trade arguably our top defensive player for a backup offensive lineman. How soon we forget the firings and placement of personnel that is the first step in plugging the dyke. That sent a massive shockwave throughout the league...people took notice. And it seems you're talking about our player's perspectives I was answering about outside our club. Some of the moves you mentioned just don't happen at this time of year...that gets noticed as well. It's quite obvious changes are on the horizon, but I agree the biggest and boldest moves are yet to come, What will cause FAs to consider Winnipeg as a viable team? 1) Snagging a "big name" starting QB. 2) Naming our next GM 3) Announcing who our next coach will be. I think what you're confusing is showing other GMs that Winnipeg wants to do business and showing players. Cause if I was a player I'd still see a team without a GM or coach right now, with a history of losing records, a team that fires a lot of coaches causing lots of turmoil... There is a hell of a lot of work to do to show players around the league that things are changing and it starts with hiring someone at GM or coach or both who has the ability to convince people that things are stable. Well, of course we don't have a Coach or a GM right now. Everybody knows that. But players don't decide right now. Everybody knows that too. But what we have shown them is that the way we used to do things...are changing. We are looking for stability. And the second part of what you said is exactly what I listed, except, in my opinion, we'll be going after a QB right away, while Walters is still the acting GM (I doubt his title would change that early) 3 more games...then the overhaul begins.... Is this like a haiku or something? Iambic pentameter?
  22. ...and Collaros could very well be another Spurgeon Wynn. I just don't trust other teams back-ups to come in here and have success....
  23. Man, I can't tell you how much I hope the Argos brain trust is like you guys and chooses to keep Collaros and deal Ray......
  24. Maybe I just haven't watched enough, but what the hell has Collaros done to get all this hype from people?? I really haven't been that impressed, and haven't seen anything to suggest that he can perform outside of this taylor-made offense that Milanovich has.
