  1. I think he'd get 450K at least. Not saying he's worth that, but it's what the market would dictate based on the past couple of years.
  2. I'd rather have Lewis than Lawler tbh. More polished route runner IMO.
  3. Obviously it goes without saying that in the CFL there's going to be a fair bit of roster turnover in three years, but with ZC and Demski both inked for three years, it's clear what the plan is. A nice hometown party in 2025...and perhaps one or two leading up to that as well.👏🥳
  4. Absolutely. I would imagine KW and co want to avoid losing two local boys in back to back off-seasons.
  5. GREAT point by DT on Twitter just now regarding Demski and ratio implications: "Bombers have no worries about the 7+1 Canadian rule that starts next season. Bighill, Bryant, Hardrick, Alexander and others qualify to be ‘nationalized’." Sorry, can't figure out how to embed tweets for the life of me haha! Restructure doesn't mean less money...lol. You can tweak cap hits based on how much is allocated at salary versus various bonuses etc.
  6. Maybe I'm too much sunshine and rainbows given the success of this regime, but I wouldn't be surprised if Demski has agreed to terms but their letting Walters go after our other pieces and restructuring a Demski contract as far as salary/bonuses go based on what KW can get accomplished over the next few days. As Mike mentioned previously, you don't sign an aging QB, God bless Zach as good as he is, and let a top target walk out the door - a local one at that.
  7. So much this. If he would have retired in his mid to late 30's, he would have been just another QB that played in the CFL.
  8. I can hear Dave the Bear saying that last line there like it was yesterday lol
  9. Nothing but click bait. Dunk lost all credibility there.
  10. Surprised Rose is back - but I'm not unhappy with it. He's not what he use to be, but veterans in the room are obviously important to have.
  11. Just noticed the kickoff for Labour Day is 5 pm Regina time... ...How the hell am I supposed to stay sober for that long?!
  12. Quite a balanced schedule at first glance. Ready for this team to go absolutely scorched earth across the league.
  13. Not at all the point. The point is, 11 years is a long time to be in any role, which will be O'Shea's tenure at the end of his new contract. If we're fortunate enough to win another championship or two in that time, he'd be well deserving of a promotion upstairs.
  14. Bucky Buck officially staying on as OC as well. Wouldn't be surprised, in time if we see a transition plan with Osh and Buck similar to Huff and Dickenson.
  15. Three year extension for Osh. Three years coming up for ZC too. Sure hope we get that 2025 Grey Cup in our yard. Let's enjoy these next three seasons.
  16. Because half of the "fans" in that picture won't even be in attendance for the majority of their games next year.
  17. Cool. Still going to average 11,000 in attendance next year - and it will be an inflated figure too. That team is a cancer to the CFL, expecting the league to pay its bills every few years.
  18. Retired enough not to come back for two subsequent opportunities for Grey Cup rings. People have to move on. Ridiculous thread.
