Biggie was absolutely our best player tonight. In a year where, so far, Jefferson and Jeffcoat haven't been as dominant as they have been previously (but still damn good, don't get me wrong), Bighill has been the hammer on the defence so far. Legs - Hey, looks like the kid settling in. The punting and kickoffs seem to be much improved, and the hashmarks being moved in has helped a lot too. Happy for him - hopefully it continues and we have a national kicker we can count on for years to come. Yoshi - Gets rolled up on the first play of the game, then down the stretch in the clutch too but kept on going. Him, Big Stan and Neufeld are the vets holding the line together at the moment. Losing him would have been huge. HH - McCrae. Nothing on the statsheet that will jump off the page, but as I mentioned in a previous topic, his reps in pass protection were outstanding which is great to see in a rookie RB

That's football. The other team gets paid too. We're without our X factor receiver, and playing with a banged up line too. How Yoshi didn't tear his ACL on the first play of the game is beyond me. Like Osh said in the post game - take the 2 points and get on home.

Today probably wasn't Buck's finest hour. At the same time, for those folks that missed Zach's comments on OB after the game, he said a lot of those quick hitters, screens etc were checks at the line (decisions made by him, and not Buck) to audible out of a called run based on what was being presented by the defence. That explained a lot! Those were audibles by Zach at the line, which he admitted to on OB after the game. There were called runs and he checked out of them at the line based on what the D lined up with. If nothing else, McCrae had a number of stellar pick ups in pass pro. Great to see given his size.

How? We're 4 games into the season. The Pats could very easily cut Drew, we could very easily add or trade for an import, speedy receiver - which are a dime a dozen. BA is coming back too. Yeah today was ugly and I was yelling at my TV like anyone, but holy hell give our coaches and management their due and trust them to fix it. They aren't idiots.

It's admittedly, much, much easier to say this after a win - but I have full faith that both Walters and O'Shea are keenly aware of what the issues on this team are, and will have the team ready and firing come the stretch run in the fall.
