Redblacks looking exactly like you'd expect a LaPo led team to look like...

LOL I know. Just a gut feeling he'll have 10 carries for 30 yards but get a goal line tudder. Lipstick on a pig type statline.

Back 2 Back CHAMPS at Arblows Early Chat
Mr. Perfect replied to Nolby's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Bored this evening so I'm watching old Bomber recaps on YouTube, and came across some games from 2018. If you have time to spare, watch a few and watch Andrew Harris. To say it's night and day compared to the Andrew Harris of 2022 would be an understatement, and you could argue even sad given the contrast. -
2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News

Same concept applies to the defence. If the rush end jumps, attempts to reset but is still offside at the snap, the flag is thrown but the play more often than not continues. Meanwhile if he jumps and he's butchered it so bad he just keeps going to the QB, the play is blown dead with the penalty assessed at that time. -
3 stars plus hh another tigernaught beat down.

2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News
Mr. Perfect replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Usually at the officials discretion I do believe. If you're 5 yards down the field and the centre still has the ball, they'll likely blow the play dead. If it's a couple steps, they'll play on. -
Funny thing is, we're often flat for games in Toronto regardless of how good or bad they are in a given season. Hopefully the boys are fired up and ready to go.

MBT, the king of garbage time stats to make his numbers look respectable.
-
No pass rush whatsoever. Rourke can have a picnic back there.
-
I mean there is a reason why he played for as many teams in the league as he did. Always played just well enough to break your heart.
-
I can see why his attitude and conditioning last year would have rubbed O'Shea the wrong way - as was supposedly the case when his departure was announced. That's the exact opposite of being a true leader. No accountability.
-
And this sideline bit just proved it, with Lalji. He felt the team didn't have his back in the 2021 off-season?! This team stuck its neck out for him after his drug test! Zero accountability. You were out of shape last season (and still look out of shape) and a shadow of your former self.
-
He's done. Last year he didn't take care of his body and it showed.

Rob Hitchcock. Milt was down, for about 3 or 4 minutes if I recall - jumped up causing the fans in Hamilton to boo, then scored a TD on the same drive after returning from sitting out the customary 3 plays for injury. Vintage Milt!🐐🐐 -
The Keith Urban one was by far the worst and painfully awkward. Felt quite bad for the guy.
-
Great to see some pops this game! I'd imagine that last one on Burnham didn't feel good on the shoulder and/or collar bone.
-
Suicide pass from Rourke.
-
I haven't forgotten what Andrew Harris did for us when he was here, but given his total lack of accountability for last season which played a large part in his departure, I'm hardly shedding a tear watching him struggle in Toronto.
-
It would make their roster make-up quite interesting next year. A big reason why they were able to be as aggressive as they were signing people was because of how little was allocated to the QBs.
-
Quite the difference between these offensive lines. Argos getting caved in. Rourke meanwhile has perfect pockets more often than not. Argos missing Shane Ray tonight who was quite effective to start the year.

I remember the complaints about the cottage crowds. Always found that laughable and to be a lazy excuse to be honest. If you have a good product PLUS, good, effective marketing, fans will come. Speaking of, and maybe it's because I'm working from home and not listening to radio on the way to work like in years past, but it seems our marketing has been lacking. Yeah I know they tried the white out thing last night, but in terms of seeing or hearing a commercial on TV or the radio, I would have had no idea there was a football game last night. Throws a pretty ball, no doubt. Good for him.
-
I think that plays a part in it too. I remember in the early 2000's, the season typically started on Canada Day weekend, or the weekend before. I always felt a Canada Day start was perfect, for obvious reasons.

My bad, 23,600. Still hardly an impressive number considering the very large majority of the seats are covered from the elements. East teams, bottom line, are not an easy sell for the west. It's always been that way.
-
East teams are a tough sell. I mean the Bombers, two time defening champions, facing the team they beat both times drew 22K on a Friday night last night.
