Overall, I feel great when keeping things I'm context. I think the obvious points of concern are running back and left guard. Hopefully Dobson factors in soon. No concerns there whatsoever. Legs....seems better than last year but still has lots of room to grow. As frustrating as the issues are, I hope we don't cut bait too soon. The thing about the "Manning casts" is that they have that on a seperate network, ESPN2. If you want a standard broadcast, you can watch that as well on standard ESPN. ESPN has it figured out. They give fans a choice based on what kind of experience they want. TSN meanwhile forces you to suffer through their crap, most of which is bush league at best. Typically defences show much stronger at the beginning of the year that offences. All things being equal, I'm sure our offence will be just fine in a couple of weeks.

I dont think it's just about that though. I'd imagine, your hope is you get new people out to the game - and hope these new folks enjoy the game and enjoy the team. I'd say the manner in which BC won last night was every bit as important. Get those new folks to want to come to more games - even if it was the concert that brought them there initially. May the overall profit for last night be slim? Sure. But maybe you've gained a few thousand or so fans from your on field display last night that they'll want to keep on coming back. That's where the big picture is, IMO.

I get this isn't everyone's taste of music - I'm in that boat too. But, if it draws 30K, as it is tonight for a struggling market, do what you need to do.

Very curious how Hamilton does without the QB tandem. Always felt that both Evans and Masoli were very hot and cold QBs and Hamilton would just swap whoever out when it was apparent they were in a funk.
