  1. Because they don't have a homer bureau reporter like Farhan is for anything BC sports related. Farhan was practically sucking Rourke off any chance he got.
  2. In the words of Chris Farley in Billy Madison...That is correct!
  3. Pure, solid, gold.
  4. Apologies if it's been stated elsewhere, but has anyone seen/heard if the Bombers are hosting their usual Saturday night party tonight??
  5. I don't recall what the comment was during the game, but on the coaches show he name dropped MBB to discuss the game day roster management and the D-Line.
  6. Kickstand Kenny! Said the same thing with my buddies watching the game. Play a basic vanilla D and dare Ford to beat you. Won't happen.
  7. There we go lol🍻 Absolutely moronic play call by Hall under the circumstances. Poorly executed by the corner as well, when that is the call. Don't overpursue. Stop, get in proper form and just make the tackle at the 40(ish) and allow a gain of 2 or 3 instead of a house call.
  8. Terrible camera work and the director in the truck wasn't much better. Missed the Elks fumble that JJ recovered. Kid is okay I guess... Bush league. The presentation of the NFL vs CFL is brutal. I get you want to relay to the audience what was happening was shocking, but the panel was amateur hour. Best post of the first half.
  9. Really wish we had an up and coming MACK waiting in the wings for 2024... Made me LOL too. Showing replays as if he did something significant on the Elks first big run. Never too high, never too low. This is why we're as successful as we are.
  10. I need to confess to a rare L. I said in the off-season I would have preferred Geno Lewis over Kenny Lawler due to the way Geno runs routes. Stupid me, even if Kenny is apparently playing with a chip on his shoulder. Funny considering how it all turned out in the end... Go sideways it did... Way too much of that from him this season. Some jaw dropping gaffes at various points. LOL, had this exact thought when it happened.
  11. 1. Dru Brown. Came into the game like he was Randy Marsh carrying around some wheelbarrow balls. IYKYK. 2. Brady O. On pace for 1,400 yards. Aside from the rough start he had in his first full year as a starter in the first half of that season, Brady has been beyond fantastic. He proves Walters and Co right every game when it comes to whether or not the team was right in moving on from Andrew Harris. 3. The team demeanor. Throughout all of the camera shots of the benches, one thing was very telling. Who was the veteran, disciplined team and who wasn't. Was 22-0 fun? Nope. But the bench wasn't panicking or having a temper tantrum. The Elks bench meanwhile was on cloud nine. As the game turned, our demeanor remained the same meanwhile you saw more and more clips of Elks players and coaches losing their cool and having their emotions get the best of them. Never too high, never too low. One of the main things I love about our coaches and players. Trust the process and more often than not, we'll be on the winning side. HH: BOO. Absolutely loved him finding a spot to get open towards the sideline on the Randy Marsh...ahem...Dru Brown scramble drill. Really stepped up after Woli went down.
  12. Did the same during the coaches show this week as well 👍
  13. I'm sure the comments from the start of this thread will be calm, rational, and well thought out - But that will be reading for tomorrow morning. For now? Time for a beer. Two points and onto the next.
  14. Could have taken off a few more seconds before the snap.
  15. Lol adorable #WatermelonTears
  16. Lots of things went wrong that drive. Absurdly soft coverage by both corners allowed Crum to play pitch and catch on that series, and Bighill's absolute comical whiff at the 10 yard line (or so) on Crum were brutal. I just think blaming that game as a whole on roster management when you consider everything that happened that game, IMO, is an extreme exaggeration. Time and time again, O'Shea preaches execution. If we do our job and execute, the game isn't close.
  17. Perfect example of twisting a narrative to suit your point. If either one of Schoen not dropping that deep pass for a sure touchdown, or Zach not throwing behind Woli late in the fourth happens, we win the game. That's a 14 point swing and has absolutely nothing to do with game day roster management.
  18. We won by by over 30 points over the second best team in the CFL and have been to three straight championships. Forgive me for trusting those that have put us in position to get to those championships over people with Doritios stains on their finger tips.
