LaVon Brazill will be receiving his apple and his roadmap after this game one would think.
-
I'd hardly call it nasty. It was inadvertent and he had it for less than a second.

That was ugly how his leg bent. Amazing he was able to walk off by himself.

Lotta ball game left...

I would think the difference is that this message board's basic purpose is to talk about the team, the articles, and by extension the press. Where as you decided to call those posters out directly for doing pretty much exactly why this message board exists. As far as I know you aren't part of the Winnipeg media, so why do you care if people complain about it. Careful - Using logic may cause his brain to explode.

Bulletin board material from Harris
Mr. Perfect replied to bigg jay's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Interesting considering Harris himself was held under 40 yards in week five, and as a team they rushed for exactly 100 yards in the game, nevermind the fact that their offensive line is a joke. You'd think considering the last time a member of the organization ran their mouth regarding the prediction of a game, that they may just want to keep quiet, but hey if they want to keep on looking stupid, all the power to them. -
Is that true? Yes it is. O'Shea stated at the beginning that all the media has to go through him, his assistants aren't allowed to speak to the media. I actually like that personally. What's amusing about it, is that Montreal did it last year, and I believe another team did as well but I can't recall who. Clowns like Wiecek act like it's never happened before. Welcome to professional football Paul. If he doesn't like it he can go back to covering the Downs.

What is that supposed to mean? It means Frosty doesn't know what they're talking about.

Not bad for a guy that many people were content to cut at the end of last season.

Paris Cotton moved to practice roster

Unfortunately we'd lead the league in turnovers if Volny had 20 carries a game. -

Paris Cotton moved to practice roster
Mr. Perfect replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Based on what? He's done nothing in his opportunities given since the preseason, and to his credit Grigsby has gotten significantly better since the second half of the Montreal game. He doesn't fumble, his pass protection is improving, and he can be used in the passing game as well. -
Paris Cotton has been moved to the squad's practice roster. Initially reported as an outright release. Kirk Penton @PentonKirk 47s The #Bombers have released RB Paris Cotton, according to a source.

Durant to miss remainder of season

Mudge was an Argo (played for Als after his Bomber stint). Not sure about Wickman. Nash, Europe, and Clark were all Als. I'm sure there were more on top of that.

Lulay officially out for season
Mr. Perfect replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I would have rather played Lulay. Lulay will never be the same. He'll be lucky if he retains sensation in his arm after so many shoulder surgeries. Wonder if B.C. will go with Glenn or go after someone else. Tebowmania Reborn! Who is there to go after this year? Wally has a pretty good track record when it comes to finding QB's. No reason to believe he won't do it again - It could very easily be someone new to the league. Glenn will obviously be there for the foreseeable future in the mean time. -
The competition at defensive line and receiver was abysmal, arguably two of the easier spots to find players along with running back. I'm fine with giving a pass on finding Canadians, that takes time, but literally no one was found at receiver and one guy was found at DL, a guy who has been pretty marginal. Mack found Jeffers-Harris, Carr, Denmark and Matthews in his first 3 seasons, Hopkins, Turner, Vega, Hall, hell even a guy like Kenny Mainor. Yes exactly, in his first three seasons as you said. Walters has had one offseason. On top of that, I'm sorry but if we're calling guys like TJH, Carr, and Mainor finds then we must be pretty desperate. They were guys who showed flashes here and there who left fans wanting more but were unable to deliver. There's a reason those players are no longer in the CFL. Out of all those guys you mentioned, Denmark (who many people were content to let walk last year), Turner, and Vega are the only guys I'd consider finds. Matthews had one good season, and an awful second one, who even when healthy seemed to struggle making the easiest of catches, and if Hall was as special as we like to make him out to be, he'd have a job by now as well. Yes he's a good pure pass rusher, but he's not fundamentally sound as an all round defensive end.

We were 3-15 last year and the roster was alarmingly bad period. Not all the holes in the roster are going to be filled in one season, considering the group we had last year. It is going to take time to put together a well rounded roster from top to bottom. It may be frustrating but we'll get there. We're already miles ahead of where we were. To imply that Walters "neglected" parts of the roster is foolish. No one could have adequately addressed every position considering the shape we were in last season. It's just not possible.
