Lowell Ullrich @FifthQtr 6m #BCLions say off-season surgery on Travis Lulay has been 'undone'; placed on six-game injured list #CFL
-
I would agree fully... ...Except for the fact that, that's not in the least what he is doing.

I was tempted to say good luck the rest of the way without a quarterback, but I didn't want to stoop down to his level... Ricky Foley @Foley4Real 1h Just came back from shopping in Winnipeg & talk is still cheap...Get the brooms out #BanjoBowl #Riders

It wasn't a late hit Tom - again, you're off. Proves what you said last week as well (about the non PI call) that you really don't know what you are talking about. I heard the whistle live. However, none of the players did. I've seen this kind of thing in the past - usually in the NFL the umpire and referee (as they are the ones close to the LOS) will both wave their hands and blow their whistles if the players continue to play - and if a player (QB usually) is hit when they are doing that, they WILL throw the flag for Unnecessary roughness. I heard a whistle but did not see ONE official - and I only heard ONE whistle, until AFTER the hit, then we heard them blowing it again. Too bad for Darian - but he kept playing if had just stopped and stood there chances are he'd be trotting off the field with the rest of his teammates. He kept playing, so did the bombers. It wasn't the CFL's fines moment but it was the OFFICIAL's error, not the players, hence no flag. Late hit - are you smoking crack when you're watching the game? The play is dead when the whistle blows. It doesn't matter who hears it and who doesn't. Hit the QB after the whistle has blown and it should be a roughing play. EVERY SINGLE TIME. BTW: It's Terry, not Tom. Only the large majority of the players didn't hear the whistle, and obviously neither did Bradbury or else he would thrown the flag. Not a difficult concept.

What people need to understand is this, and I'm not sure why it hasn't been figured out yet - O'Shea will not call a player or phase out in public. The message you give to the media, and the one behind closed doors are often two entirely different messages.

Keep digging the grave EJ... Ejiro Kuale @EJKUALE 31s You may not like my comments but they were "facts" football is a team sport it takes more the one phase to win!

All joking aside I hope you don't take that sign out in public, some bad things could happen to you. We took it into the game and even the Rider fans thought it was hilarious. We put it away as soon as a woman who brought her young son with her asked us to though. Great, keep it classy. I'd suggest the same thing is going to happen at the Banjo Bowl but the lady might be a police officer or a burly father. Surprised the moderators let this image stand when they react so vigilantly to offencive language or spelling errors.

Kevin Glenn had his arm broken by Kevin Eiben diving on it trying to get a loose ball. A 300+ pound offensive lineman coming down on a shoulder isn't going to be pretty either.

Pretty sure we'd beat B.C. both times even with Lulay playing.

I always liked Lysko as a commish. Always did what he could under difficult circumstances. -
What?I dont know if its grammatically correct. Lol.But both players are burried and forgotten and rotting on the depth chart.... well, like dead. lease on life?? I LOLed anyhow.....so great. This part of the thread totally bottled my mind.. That's a mute point. Uhhhhh.. Nooooooo... It's a moo point.. It's like a cow's opinion. It doesn't matter.

Especially when you can get a power back (or any FA back) off the market for cheap at this time of year - Not that I anticipate us making that move. If we were, it would have been done already. -

Ticats trade Steve Myddleton to Esks
Mr. Perfect replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think it's amusing how up in arms people get when they see a team acquire a NI o-lineman and wonder how/why we weren't involved without really knowing the quality of said player in question. I understand to a small extent given how our line has performed in some games this year, but it's still amusing none the less. -
Hopefully they have the west wrapped up by that time comes, or at least by our second game against them.

Game Day Thread- Bombers vs Riders LDC
Mr. Perfect replied to Nolby's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You can expect them to make the right call because the rules CLEARLY state when pass interference should be called. -

It's quite sad how true this statement is. -

Actually according to the CFL we're right as I posted on the last page which illustrates direct quotes from the CFL rulebook - But that doesn't mean that replay will get the call right because of the joke that is CFL officiating. It's not the first time a play has been ruled incorrectly by replay, and sadly it won't be the last. -

Burgess, you're wrong. Accept it and move on. -

we see it different. The defender did not turn his head at all. It was pi no question. Screening, illegal contact take your pick. But that didn't lose us the game. agreed except you could say it did lose it for us.... he got there way early and blocked kelly's vision From CFL.CA - How the league defines pass interference.... "It is pass interference by either team when a player physically restricts or impedes an opponent in a manner that is visually evident and materially affects the opponent’s opportunity to play the ball." Also..."It shall be ruled pass interference if a player "goes through" an opponent during an attempt to play the ball" In other words, the officials botched the call. -
Not that we need another reason to love the guy...Here is what he said when asked after the game about his ankle. "It would take a stretcher for me not to come back in. I love competing against that team more than anything in the world." Story link: http://www.winnipegsun.com/2014/08/31/adrenalin-helps-willy-walk-off-ankle-injury

Ejiro Kuale @EJKUALE 1m Hey I'm the vet on Defense so I'll take all the rap my Defense played great!!!!!
-
Just keep handing off to Volny... what could go wrong...? Why would that be your call on third and less than one?
-
We had been pushing the Riders back the entire second half in the LOS - To not have faith in them to continue to do that in that situation is baffling.
