  1. yea i was just razzin.. ive purused it to see what crap was being flung at some friends and exes as well.. the site is pure garbage and it saddens me to think that guy proably got rich off it..
  2. I tend to look at it another way if we were all singing roses about this regime would there be any reason to get better? But I respect where your coming from. Perfectly understood, and definitely don't ever consider me of the same "Z0MG1!!1 B0mBERs!1!" ilk as Spudsy...... Just always hoping for a happy medium. (...Call it the Grit Red in my blood ....) dood.. dafuq? Im not nearly as bombers are unquestionable as I was. gimme some credit. ive realized where the failings are and whos not up to snuff. ill admit before id be hard pressed to say brohms worthless or bellfuille is garbage or even that oshea needs to get a backbone and stop letting bellfool float on by..
  3. Uh how bad do we have to be before we get permission to be negative?Less than 5 wins?Just curious. youve not needed permission since day one and now you are nit picking on a post that didnt even say anything to that effect.. Ticky tack stuff bud.
  4. Yea he went from squishy, splattery pile of diarrhea to a semi-solid, steaming pile of dog crap. So improved... Sorta. I will say he wasnt the worst lineman we had this year.
  5. The Jay's ex- GM made it very clear that he decided to bail when Shapiro stepped right past him to meddle in the GM business. Yea and its a known situation in MLB that having a hands on president is far more common then getting the treatment AA had under Beeston. Toronto gave their gm a ton of leeway, he will be hard pressed to find it again. Also, you seemed to have glossed over the fact that the interim GM was already a Bluejay and would have given his nod of approval to keep Gibbons I would assume. I think you have the timeline wrong. Shapiro went ahead and renewed Gibbons`contract which led to AA tendering his resignation. If you apply that behaviour to the Bombers, then it would be like Miller renewing O`Shea`s contract without consulting Walters, which would put Walters in an untenable position. Uhhhh... No? Gibs was AA's guy the whole time. Why would he have balked at the idea of keeping him here? AA was admonished for his burning of the farm players and was told he would need to get approval on doing that in the future. Creative differences caused AA to walk.
  6. 7-11 or 8-10 as even with a healthy Willy at the helm, MB's offense is just not capable of beating CFL defenses of today. Every DC really seemed to be in Bellfools head. Every gimmick play was picked up almost right from the get go. Almost every offensive series had the offense fighting themselves and the defense.
  7. Why ask why? Just play along lol. Not every question needs to be turned into a bashfest.
  8. If your win loss record reflects who you retain as an assistant how can it not point to a problem with the HC decision making process? Who else was available? It was rumoured that Oshea had wanted MB out mid-season but was told no by walters or miller. Probably because nobody better was able to step into his role. Now, offseason at least gives us a fair chance to lure someone or bring someone else in.. Can anyone really argue against the fact that our offense was the biggest glaring issue on this team? If we had even an average offensive performance most nights we probably come close to .500 and a playoff betth.
  9. Am I missing something about Newman? Did he come in on a crazy expensive contract or ...? Seemed to me he was a good STer, solid backup and canadian to boot..
  10. Thats a pretty big thing to hope for tho, very very few coaches are boned up on all three phases unless they are archaic. Its pretty common place for a defensive minded HC to lean on his oc and vica versa. We just went with an experienced OC who we figured would be a benefit but turned into a detriment. Second season, I dunno if he talked a good talk or showcased a plan of action that flopped but regardless.. oshea wanted to lean on his oc and it blew up. Bigtime.

  12. No.. Not its not. Why would it be? Thats on the bombers BOD and president and more so on their ability to get fan relations back on course.
  13. Why would the redblacks want any of our FAs? They bought all the good ones up in the last two seasons.. They wanted to pass, rather than pick from us in the expansion draft, or don't you recall that running joke? Yea I remember the joke. Not shocking you would look for a chance to throw a cheap shot tho. Knew what ya were implying, just chose to not recognize its lameness.
  14. AA passed on a renewal and Calava was in system when Gibson was retained. Stop looking for weird over-reaching conspiracy theories lol,
  15. Kind of an odd choice but not the worst choice. Their music is energetic and punchy so I can see it working with football fans.. And it will bump up viewership by teenagers and young adults 14-23. Ladies apparently have a thing for wentz too so theres that lol.
  16. I do have to wonder of he wouldnt return to previous form under a better OC tho. willy and lulay both have similar styles throwing the ball so one would assume that if the OC is better, maybe willy and moores "clicking" would be better too? Definitely need to change his contract to games played and stat incentive based tho.
  17. Why would the redblacks want any of our FAs? They bought all the good ones up in the last two seasons..
  18. I agree with almost all of these. Randle must be back. Key part of our backend. Nichols is the best backup in the league next to Glenn imo. Daniels if back to 100% is a great signing as well as he was very good imo when while here. Id bump Lirim up to "must sign" as he is a dual kicker AND I believe he will have a rebound season. id keep Castillo tho just in case Lirim is just a punter again.. id try to sign him to an incentive contract but not too heavily as it would probably play with his head again.. if we got the money signings are all bang on except Id bump Newman to this group.. He didnt embarrass himself while on defense and was very good on the teams. i think he could be a viable option at safety or very least adequate backup to hurl if we stick with canadian MLB. the rest can come back at reduced rates if they want and battle it out in camp.. washingon probably has something to prove a la Jovon Johnson after that brutal campaign so id like to see him back for a chance at redemption.. Capers can come back and try to crack the roster as well as he didnt do all that brutal in a rushed situation. richardson, shell, gibson can all walk imo. richardson maybe as we could use the passport and depth but Id rather see james green back lol.
  19. Your wish has been granted- for this season at least. I fear that next season their record might be better than ours. This doesnt surprise me in any way, shape or form lol
  20. Double huh?? Jones is like 17 years in Edmonton..Walters is barely that old. So what you're saying is he is ready to jump ship lol
  21. The problem with this list is we realistically don't know the answer to a lot of them.... sure we can guess... but it likely won't be accurate... Even though I don't know for sure, I have formed an opinion that is likely to be very accurate. I think he's been exposed as a terrible head coach but there's no need to embarrass the poor guy any further. He's had a very rough year. I am sure he has learned a lot these past two seasons. He's got one year left. Let's see if he can put it all together next year. What do you think? Can he? I agree... I'm no advocate for keeping O'Shea... for me the record 7-11 and now 6-12 (if we're lucky) is the only stat I care about... I'm not sure anyone can possibly be convinced this team is progressing... but there's big problems: who are the better alternatives?... is this a winning team with a new OC?... I just really don't know what to think about the team/organization as a whole right now... Im in the boat that believes our offense was and continues to be the teams biggest issue. Its the CFL. You need an offense to be competitive. We dont even have a "game management" offense let alone a "dictate the pace" one., our offense has been a consistent liability all year long.. ST has been up and down and defense has become a force imo. If our offense could stay on the field and actually score TDs then our defense would be even better from not burning out or being counted on to hold the tide every game all game long..
  22. Ha, that there is Suitor-talk, an obvious attempt not to credit the Bomber defence, so...it must be because he was bothered by that injury/non-injury. That was pure soccer theatrics at its finest. Couldnt believe he cried on the field then jumped up and practically jogged to the sidelines whilst signalling that was 3 times.. Soooo the other two were just as (not) bad then or..? And maas throwing his temper tantrum was awesome.. His players shoulda let him go to discuss this issue with westerman and anderson lol.
  23. Bucknor is starting. Thats weakness. Getting a legit canadian safety back could allieviate that problem. maybe thats what we are angling for.. We know Bucknor was exposed a lot this season. Waggoner and Newman or Morgan i assume are all potential Safety prospects while Jones I think is a Bucknor 2.0
