  1. Why do you consistently rank us behind the riders when evidence shows contrary to that belief?
  2. There is always gonna be two sides to this story.. This is the side I tend to gravitate shockingly. To say its bullshit tho is a bit much.. I dont call the way you have been being a fan or even the other detractors methods as bullshit. Ive learned to accept it a helluva lot better then before.
  3. No he wasn't. Bauer demoted him before Kelly was hired. Yup. Taman was asked to take a lesser role. He balked
  4. Some fans are fans thru and thru some fans chose to decide when they wanna support and cheer. All are still fans, some would say.
  5. I cant believe some people overvaluing thomas. Hes a great depth guy and an awesome run stopper and backup but lets slow the hype train.. He would be exposed in a full time gig a la Mckinnley those years ago.. Then we would have people calling for his head and walters for using him so incorrectly lol Love the kid, love his motor and he really seems to bled blue and gold. Need guys like him no doubt but you cant just assume he will be better at that next level when he has never shown an inkling of being able to shoulder the load.. If I recall correctly, when he has been forced into heavy minutes, it has shown.
  6. Unless we make a final. I dont know if I trust nichols enough to play that big of a game.. Then again, he would be much more familiar with offense AND in tune (if any tune is to be found) with the offensive players.. So maybe willy as backup.
  7. Have to wonder if they didnt just touch base with them, show them the facilities and say come on back next camp yup. Doubt it was "your face looks funny.." Or "you lack commitment.." Seeing as it was like.. A weeks time spent in town lol.
  8. Sad but true.. Hes a great role player and outstanding against the run but full time duty might make him less of an asset and more of a liability. Extending him is a good move as he is valuable as a backup and in specific packages. If we get bilukidi next season, this is even more of a smart move..
  9. YEAH HALF OFF! CHRISTMAS PRESENT! Wooho thanks logan! You shouldnt have!
  10. Read the second sentence way too fast. perv... Me too doh lol.
  11. im with bffc. als looked like a wrestler designed em.
  12. They said he would be back in 6-8 weeks over two months ago when everyone and their grand mother knew that wasn't true. They may not have outright said he'll be back this year, but it sure as hell was implied. implied or percieved by people? Anyone following the team has heard of his updates and lack of progress.. regardless you really wanna cruicify someone for being optimistic??
  13. he is definitely one of the guys id choose to replace Walters with even if Walters wasnt leaving.. maybe even bring in as a consultant with option to become GM if walters struggles to build a conpetitive roster..
  14. Then you could volunteer to be his offensive coordinator, cause they couldn't afford to pay one.Yes they could. 3,000 extra tickets sold per game over a full season is an extra ~2 million dollars. Not very good at math, hey?Once they put together a legitimate balance sheet that demonstrates an ability to operate the Football Club, IGF and service their debts we can start dreaming. They haven't done that since the stadium opened. I don't know how you budget for sellouts. Hiring Hufnagel isn't like flipping a switch.I didn't budget for a sellout with Huff. I budgeted for 3000 more per game which would be an average of 30-31k per game. Realistic if you look at attendance during the 2011 Swaggerville season. If Huff could produce a consistent 10-12 win team, he'd more than pay for his salary at $1 million per season as GM and HC. And if he wins 15 games over two seasons and you want to fire him? Can you, or are you too invested financially? Hufnagel's success isn't just him. He's got the best personnel guy in the recent history of the league with him, he's got Dickenson, Stubler etc. If you can't build that organization, what's the point of paying one person? His rep would certainly attract top notch people to work with him. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of his staff followed him. Might take a year or two, but he'd produce a winner. So year two and we still have no winning team, no decent OC cuz we cant afford one, crappy talent from firing walters and replacing with no name scouts as we couldnt afford better.. And huff is on the hot seat.. And willy or our starter goes down for a long time.. You can say how awesome it could be but flipping the coin it could be just as much a disaster.. Fun game I suppose. Isn't what your describing what we are going through right now? Isn't what your describing what we are going through right now? No, we didnt blow our coaching wad on one guy so hypothetically if a really good OC pops up we should be able to entice him. Say what you will about Oshea but with an offense that actually is an advantage or even a break even, this team is .500 or better.
  15. Nothing wrong with that. Except that it shows how utterly pathetic our scouting and GM are. Actually quite the opposite.....because they're constantly working to upgrade, and not just sitting on "Ehhh, good enough....." Really? How many of these revolving door guys is on the roster right now? It is one thing to continue to bring in people but if it not producing anything of note then, well ... I would totally agree with you if there was evidence that it was producing results but like the rest of what this regime is doing there just isn't any evidence to back up all this faith people have in them. This is a 5-11 team that is only in the hunt for a play-off spot because there are equally crappy teams losing around them. Yo realize the world still turns even if we dont make playoffs? Thats not the reason for these adds. You have to keep bringing in players as they come available or change their minds and come north.. Why is this a bad thing exactly?

  17. Welcome aboard, and don't take umbrage at the nitpicking and occasional spewing of bile here. Haha. No worries. I've had to sit next to opposing fans ridicule our last name for years lol. It is quite the name I guess haha Welcome and ignore some of the slights aimed towards your buddy. Hopefully he likes what he sees and is interested in coming back for next camp as unfortunately not much time to prove ones self or move up a depth chart this late in the year. Always awesome to see someone with a different perspective come in and join the fun.
  18. Exactly. Optimistic time frame did not ever say "he will be back for sure before end of season.." Had his knee knitted quickly and he was able to tollerate the pain and uncomfortableness that would have come with a rush back, he would have or will but you cant get mad at the team, coaches, willy or medical staff if you choose to put words into peoples mouths..
  19. Yea just because we dont parrot the same drivel over and over again doesnt mean we dont support oshea. We have said our pieces and you have said yours. Nobody seems to want to consider each others view points so ive lost interest in repeating myself. As for Oshea looking like hes "going thru the motions.." That before or after he yelled at the offense? Argued with the officials? Smh. You see what you wanna see. Thats it. You hear what you wanna hear in the interviews. (Sorry goalie lol. These were not directed at you but at the oshea detractors.)
  20. Opinions or theories are borne from something. You dont just wake up and one day and spout out nonsense. i also dont see why anyone would take offense as to being asked why you think that way. It wasnt an attack or a insult.. It was an attempt to engage in a discussion or debate
  21. So wait... On the one hand you said "I also find it amusing to see how many people take things at face value." in reference to what O'Shea said about releasing Boyd and now you're quoting him to support your theory? Pretty convenient way of trying to make your argument. Not overly effective, but convenient. I'm still waiting to hear what evidence supports your theory, by the way. I have no evidence, that's why it's called a "theory". If I had evidence it would be a "fact". I'm speculating. In my opinion it's a likely theory, but it's just a theory. Ah, so what you're doing is speculating. And doing so without any evidence. So essentially you are denigrating the character of the head coach, accusing him of lying to the media, without any basis whatsoever. Nice. I have a theory about people who do stuff like that, but I'll have the good taste not to expand upon it further.Sounds great. And you keep on living your life believing everything you hear; and not thinking critically. Here. Until someone in a position like a head coach gives you a reason to call him a liar, wouldnt it be prudent to think hes telling the truth? Considering how easily they could be caught in ANY lie due to the closeness and smothering tendencies of our media? Also, if oshea has given you a reason to suggest he is a liar, please share.
  22. Yup. Kids becoming a force. We need our own steele/laurent. Hopefully bilukidi comes back to the homeland asap
