  1. Technically, yes. Anyone can be released from a contract.. I think cfl might frown upon it but alas.
  2. All tweets ive seen are saying "back to riders.." Or something similar.. Is it wishful thinking or something we dont know?
  3. Gambled on 3rd down rather than going for a 48 yard field goal with a kicker who is playing lights out. I meant to ask, why do people dislike Chris Jones personally? He seems ok to me. Just his thoughts and mentality on some things. His first year as head coach he refused the traditional handshake after a game with the opposing coach because he felt that it wasn't "genuine" .Apparently he has relented and shakes hands this year because he didn't want to bring "negative' publicity to the club, but I'm sure he still thinks it is an empty gesture. He may feel it's an empty gesture and I can appreciate not wanting to hear 'consolation' after a loss .. that said .. it's about good sportsmanship and the one thing I've always admired about the sport of hockey is that post series handshake .. those guys beat each other up .. it can get ugly .. but at the end of a series there's that show of respect for the guys competing across from you. I guess one could infer that Jones simply doesn't respect his opponents. Hes a scumbag. Doesnt respect his opponents or opposition coaches. Thought it was well known that he targeted players when he was a DC in toronto and always was egotistical..
  4. Am i the only one who thinks "rumble young man rumble!" When JFG gets the ball in open space? Looks like he should be a load to bring down.
  5. Well 0-1 due to Jones stupidity...why onside kick when yer up two scores... Smh. Or not kick a 48er..
  6. I don't do teh twits. Glad he's crushing it tho.. Excellent performance from him last week..
  7. But he wasnt hurt. You ARE following the posts right? Miraculously, I am following. Though I find your condescension hilarious given that at the point of the picture, Rob Bagg actually didn't know whether he was seriously injured or not. There's a post 2 down from the quoted by lebird you should read.. Also, just a thought.. A bit much on the righteous indignation..
  8. Your seriously posting a picture of Bagg walking off field after he thought he blew out his knee and his career was over as a joke?? I don't even know what to say to that. He THOUGHT his knee was done and he THOUGHT he wasnt playing again.. Huh. Lookit that, hes playing.. Smh. Pull up your panties nancy Sorry to be posting multiple times rather than multi-quoting, but I'm replying as I go. I don't care if his career didn't end up finishing. It was still a very serious injury and that doesn't make it any classier or appropriate. Even so, his career may be much shorter than it could have been. That doesn't make what we did any worse or what you guys did any better and vice versa. What I'm saying is dont expect us to turn the other cheek. We are a bomber forum for Christ sake! We for the most part despise the riders.. Also, you realize there is a thread bashing Saskatchewan women as toothless Gummer giving inbreds... Not a word of foul play there... Smh.
  9. He's my pick fer the lock this week lol. Felt like pulling a joe mack.
  10. The man is crying on national TV. hes fair game imo. He also was crying over what may have been.. Not what transpired. If he was out for the season or career then sure.. Id see the issue but otherwise.. Nope.
  11. You guys can blaze away at will on the Riders. I can take it and I fully intend to hand some out back to you guys. I get it that Bagg wears number 6 and obviously it would have to be a picture of him to make the joke work, but lets keep it classy, ok guys. You realize you are on a bomber forum right? I remember all of the jokes on the Rider forum when buck was injured.I know where I am. I'm not defending any of the jokes or things that other people say. You are free to say anything you want, as I am free to let you know how I feel about what you said. That's all I was doing, mentioning that I thought that particular joke was a bit over the line IMHO. If you don't agree, I have no problem with that either. Quit whining. No one was poking fun at an 'alleged' injury. He just happens to wear 6. Maybe we can get a photo of you crying in a number 6 jersey to make the joke with. That.. Would be more approprooriate yup. Fair trade i think.. Send pic and bagg will be less bagged on lol . (Pun, as clearly we aint bagging on his injury here.. )
  12. The beauty of Mulumba is that if he does find his way here, his position translates well to here.. Rush end or WIL. There wouldnt be an insanely high learning curve imo. If its this season, next season or even 2017.. He will shake down eventually..
  13. But he wasnt hurt. You ARE following the posts right?
  14. And we will keep it as classy as rider fans kept hammering us on our gc drought and buck pierce.. I recall more then a few pics of a dazed or crushed pierce displayed across rf.com mocking hs injuries... And yet, rider fans cry foul over a slight that wasnt even intended OR in actuality even referenced.. Cry harder boys, maybe then us heartless bomber fans might be bothered to care..

  16. HA! I'm so going to steal this. Was already stolen.. From doug brown.. Who stole it from twitter i believe..
  17. Rocket robinhood was a staple for myself before school.. Hercules as well. What you have all failed to realize is that both were from the 60's.. You go some seriously high standards for a cartoon over 50 years old.
  18. IIRC - wasn't that a preseason game? I wasn't there but I heard it on the radio. House almost drowned because when he was tackled his face mask got rammed into the mud and stuck there. He couldn't get it out and of course was in a puddle. We laugh now and he probably does too but I'll bet you anything Rick wasn't laughing those few seconds where he couldn't breathe (and you can bet he wanted to it's not like he was standing around doing nothing I'm sure his body was screaming for oxygen). I don't recall that 58 to 14 game - that was the year before I left Winnipeg and I was working a lot of weekends then so I most likely was working when that game was played. I remember the 58 to 2 game we had over the Alouettes (or was it the Concord then?) when they brought in Billy 'Whiteshoes" Johnson, VInce Ferragamo and James Scott from the NFL - Richard Crump and William Miller had 100 yards each in that game. Holy ****. The tall tales just get bigger as the years go by. What you describe never happened to House. I was at that game & it was a huge thunderstorm but no lightning hit the goalpost & no player almost drowned. This near drowning of Rick House you described would have been reported by the media that night & been all over the news across North America (even without social media). It would've gone down in Bomber lore as the 1950 GC incident with Buddy Tinsley did. This is the first time I ever heard of it. Ive heard this story as well.. Wish i could find a source for it but its not the first time ive read of it..
  19. grigsby
  20. Second camera shows cop being dragged by car.. He was fleeing and put officers life at risk.. Again... If you don't want to get killed by a cop, just fkn listen to em! Don't fight, flee, run or most importantly do not put the officers life in even remote danger.. This isn't a hard concept folks..
  21. After rewatching the gable injury I think he's done for awhile too..
  22. Wasn't he supposed to be a bomber at some point?
  23. me too man. me too.. go jays go!
  24. And those players are the key to good special teams play. Bringing in as many as you can is just a bloody good idea. exactly. LB and DB depth is essential for ST and spot duty if called for... i love that our ST guys can fill in for defensive reps without a terrible drop off.. not like in seasons past.
  25. I'm the farthest thing from a fan of Moore's but to suggest that one game of slot from Veltung and an on and off season from Adams who doesn't even play the same position is reason to cut Moore next year is a stretch.I'd love to see Walters actually bring in players to challenge Moore and perhaps Veltung is a start but let's not jump to conclusions. I'm not pumping either of these guys tires... I'd sign a proven SB to be honest. Just saying, you can't gameplay with a receiver that you know is going to be out 2/3 of the season.Out two thirds of the season? He's missed one of six games this year. My bad... he only missed half of last season, hurt his back in pre-season and then was injured in Game 5. Better? hurt his back... told to take it easy to give reps to rookies... Hard to use preseason nicks as a refererence and one game outta 6 so far a season truly doesnt make.. he HAS to show better then last season tho, no doubt.
