Plus the DB didn't have position to justify contact. If you have to reach out and grab someone it's a penalty. Probably should have been illegal contact though as the grab happened fairly early in the route. Was wondering if I was missing something. I don't know about the Brink. I've been watching it but I'm not overly sold on it. I like how they really don't pull any punches and it's so serious yet tongue in cheek. The actors they have brought in (yes including jack black) all seem to really enjoy their roles and play em very well..

More important question, is the show any good? First episode I caught was.. Ok. HBO's newest killer show IMO is the brink.

Kids good but telegraphed his passes real bad. I think having that footage on him definitely allowed us to expoit the rookiness (that a word? Lol) of his game..He really seems to have a killer tool kit for the CFL tho, mobile and accurate with his throws when he gets to set his feet..

twice Willy was sacked when the Bombers were in FG range and both times the sacks took them out of FG range. Willy has to get rid of the ball in those cases, those sacks cost us an easy six points. The more I see of Willy the less I am sold on him. He can't read a blitz and his release is so dam slow. I'm more worried about Picard making the line calls. After 3 games I see no upside to having him in there, the amount of guys coming through the inside gaps untouched is embarrassing. Picard can't block anybody so if he can't at least get the protections right he's doing nothing for us that Goossen couldn't do. I don't fault Willy for not throwing a pass when he can't even get his eyes upfield before he's being tackled. Rather take the loss of yards than have the ball going back the other way, even if it takes us out of FG range. Yea I dunno if it just takes a bit for Picard to gell with Chungh and Greaves but the interior is getting mauled. I'm impressed that willy hasn't been sacked more already, tbh. Picard getting flagged for holding might become even more common place then before..

Last year we all whined about offsides, PI and roughing the passer/UR calls being missed or ignored.p Now.. They get called and people are crying about too many flags? I get it, we are Winnipeg. Guy is a jack of all trades and apparently a very solid STer. If he can backup multiple spots and play STs like that, I see zero reason why he is a bad signing. Not all your players are gonna grab headlines and make huge plays every game.. Some will just, you know, block a punt that was critical to a win.
