I honestly believe coach Kelly got caught up in an absolutely perfect **** storm with everything raining on him.. His standoffish stance didn't help matters at all but I mean the guy just won a coach of the year award.. Granted it's just ECAC conference coach of the year but still university level and still a solid award. Clearly he did not work here when he was here but I think it just wasn't the right time for his style of coaching..

You may not like the sport but it is still very popular AND our canadian women's team is unreal. If this world class event pushes our bombers out of the stadium for a week, oh well. It's not like this isn't the biggest soccer event in the world or anything..

I agree. I think greaves is serviceable but an upgrade will be needed at some point now that we have depth and decent players in the pipeline.. If he can be moved for a piece that works, awesome otherwise keep him until someone surpasses him on the depth chart..

We don't really know if he is. That's the problem when they report these types of rumours - we don't know if it's Walters trying to make a trade or if other teams are calling Walters to see if he's available. exactly.. Walters isn't taman. he knows the value of Canadian content and the oline imo. he isn't going to screw up what progress he has made yet for a whim. if he makes a move, it will benefit us. I believe he wouldn't make a move unless it strengthened a position of weakness more needed then oline. (which i dont believe we have )

Im assuming the discussion was mainly due to see what might be available at draft day on the trade market.. i don't believe we are actively shopping Greaves without a real smart plan in place that would keep the ratio balanced and oline stocked.. otherwise what would be the point really..
