I too am curious as why we didn't go after waud unless the team knows more about the future then we do in regards to Canucks on the way back (or hoping..) or from next seasons draft. Who knows, maybe they feel a dlineman steps in easier then a receiver so they felt it's not as dire to get one ASAP...

With our depth he'd likely end up on the PR.Yup up to the point of people insulting Walters just because he wouldn't attempt to pluck him off PR.. Some people post in a very inflammatory style and they get upset when called on it. gbill, every time you post something with a snide comment or a snarky twist and get commented on it, you see it as an attack.. If you want to post a post that is deliberately digging for a response, you cannot be surprised when that response isn't a nice one..

Well his interviews were red flagging every gm.. so i mean its not crazy Walter's passed.. he wants character guys.. as for Morgan.. we currently employ 2 Canadians in our secondary.. he can arguably play SAM, corner. or safety... how is that a bad thing again?

Very solid picks by Walters and co. I like the Morgan pick as he is almost guaranteed to be a Legit teams guy but he could very well be in the mix for corner or SAM. Chungh is gonna definitely push our current interior guys and Richards. Don't like he is a sasky boy but he is a solid specimen who has been producing well in university ball.. Good first 2 rounds.. Now we break till 4th lol

Shame to see him go but I imagine the offer we put on the table in February has diminished due to FA camps and whatnot. He was a very good player for us when he was on the field.. he just wasn't on the field enough. Injuries and not wanting to push people back to the bench because of healing caused him to sit more then he would have liked, I'm sure.. Coupled with ratio issues. Sad to see him go but if he doesn't wanna be a bomber.. Peace! Just another reason to hate the ti-cats I suppose..

I find it hilarious that people cannot understand the reasons for his struggles last season.. But here, let's review.. Again. -horrible o-line made worse from lack of depth and injury -zero run game that allowed to take pressure off the pass rushes -getting hit every game over and over again -lack of defence at times keeping the offence off the field -Willy and Marcel's first season together and one (marcel) not switching up the plays or offence when it was realized it was flawed. -lack of a legit #1 threat for much of the season due to injuries or poor performance Pretty much any combo of these is going to make a rookie starting QB struggle. The fact he put up decent numbers while dealing with the problems we had is really a reason to believe the kid can play.. Also, when everything was clicking and working properly.. The offence did very well and Willy was winning games.
