Millington, any relation to sean Millington?
-
I think I made that joke on the old OB forum the day he was drafted. Sounds right.. Then it was made again last season when we signed him too, lol..
-
Lotsa angry rider fans at that cut.. Imagine he will be back at a reduced rate but will shop around first.. Nobody is paying him over 100k again tho..

I've been very pleased to see the moves Chevy has been making via trades the last few seasons.. Very smart, wise moves that haven't backfired or turned out badly that I can see or so rarely as to be overshadowed by the good ones.. We have ourselves a good'er..

A slagging of rider priders by a Ticat (I think anyway) fan..

Nope they sure haven't and it will be interesting to see how loyal and rabid these fans are when the dark times come back.. -

First thing I thought when I read it was "excellent disguise 17to85... This should fool everyone!" -
The NFL has their version of TCF too. Before camp even starts or the last day of it, it just seems unlikely to me that he survives all the roster cuts he will need to to stick with the Ravens this year. No PR eligibility left, and there will be players of similar quality that the Ravens can sign for cheaper. Unless he had a helluva offseason training, we're probably firing up another Bilukidi thread in about 6 months. .... So yer sayin' there's a chance.

Good trade.

Always been a fan of stempniak.. Good trade.. What did we give up?
-
If he gets cut and wants to join the Bombers, I volunteer to drive down and pick him up. I call shotgun!!!!!!!!!Yes. The defensive tackle is going to give you shotgun. Hey, rules is rules.. He doesn't, he isn't following the rules... Without rules, society breaks down.. Bilukidi wouldn't want to be the harbinger of anarchy... So, he takes back seat..

Good player but his back is screwed up and his career is likely done because of it. Drafted by Florida a while back top 3 in the draft, spent time in Boston, I think he was part of their cup team and then went to Columbus where his injury issues really came to the forefront. Basically works out like this, because the contract isn't insured the Blue Jackets have to pay him, but they're a small market team that cares more about actual dollars than cap hit so they approached the leafs. Took that Clarkson albatross deal off their hands because at least Clarkson will play for them and the Leafs pay Horton to be injured but save the cap space. cool.. Sucks for Horton as I remember he was highly thought of as a prospect.. Hopefully his back isn't so screwed his quality of life isn't too affected.. Works out well for leads as they get to dump a disgruntled, semi-expensive contract.. Not gonna change their fortunes much but hey, baby steps lol

If the kid is living up to his hype, could bold well for us as it looks like we could easily be going Canadian at one LB spot.
-
What's the deal with Horton? I vaguely remember the name from a few seasons ago..
-
Wait... A ref got a call wrong? No waaaaay.
-
It won't be done this season - he's still under contract to his KHL team. I thought the KHL was having problems.. Teams folding and whatnot.. I really haven't followed it at all..
-
This and he can't hit the broad side of a barn with a pass..
-
The mind bottling joke has come up before? Going on fourth or fifth time now.. Well, maybe third or fourth.., But,multiple instances of it have occurred..
-
I know, right. I thought it was a joke then figured... Better safe then sorry lol

You think they keep all of them around? Unless Grigsby got some balls surgically added in the offseason he's not as good as the other two guys. Call me over sensitive but really beginning to think you don't like Grigsby. He gave us high hopes coming outta camp after.cottons injury... Then we realized he can't block, barely catch and is a lightweight when any contact happens... Any dislike is based upon his brutal season with us AND then blaming everyone but himself..
-
Good on Hopkins, glad he landed on a team,.shame it's with the reblaks

Very interesting theories with some compelling information.. Should be intriguing to see where this goes..

This thread had very little relevance to it to begin with, it's turned into a more spirited discussion. Spirited discussion? This discussion has been beaten to death over the last two years and you're usually the first to call posters out on that. If Lapo and Mack's names were never mentioned again. It would be too soon. Let's discuss the present not the past. The past shapes the present. Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it etc etc. Yea but the only thing we can truly hope that management learns is what not to do going forward..

I think it's more a case of two GMs trying to outsmart themselves trying to target the guy they think might be the deal and upping the price of him but when the dust settles the better guy doesn't cost a hell of a lot more. Which is mind bottling, don't you think? Opposite of all known FA battles for a top notch player that I can think of.. I fully expected 200k+ and am still baffled how he came in under that.... Significantly so.. Boggling. Uh.. No... Its bottling.. Blades of Glory (2/10) Movie CLIP - Team Van Waldenberg (2007) HD: http://youtu.be/0DFBoLZC3Bw
