It totally depends on what team we field come Canada day. We don't know who's playing WIL, MAC or interior on our Dline.. I think if we land Curran and figure out how to get the best players on the dline without hiding a Canadian there then it's anyones guess who finishes 1-3. If we go with a weak dine and an unknown MLB.. could be a long season..

Going to be better, guarenteed.. Going to be dominant?? Potential for greatness is there but an oline needs to be cohesive.. Gotta make sure all these horses can work together and be that monster line we have been desperately waiting for..

I'd bring in Lee unless he is wanting to go where he can play more..

Too soon. There's going to be at least a half dozen guys and probably more who will get drafted/signed by the NFL. I'm guessing Walters won't risk burning the 2nd overall pick on one of those guys, so once we know who is heading south it won't be too hard to piece it together. When do we see all these FA signings and drafted Canadians gone to the NFL? They changed it this season I thought..

So with Glenn, we maybe, somehow, back into the playoffs and then watch him crash and burn in the first game? It's like you Glenn supporters are stuck in a 2007 time warp. The Glenn of 2014 is the Glenn of today. The Glenn of 2007 is gone and he ain't coming back. Who says we'd need him for the playoffs? Willy could get injured for a few games during the season. Who would you prefer starting games during a 3-4 game stretch; Marve or Glenn? Glenn could be the difference between making the playoffs or not. I'd rather Marve. We need to find out what he has, don't we? We all already know what Glenn is..

That's an ignorant comment, I won't change my tune on Glenn and would rather work thru a backup finding his game then watch an old man with zero emotion try to rally the troops.. And if we hit playoffs having to start praying to every god that is in existence that Glenn can FINALLY perform on the big stage..

I was saddened when everyone kind of went separate ways because there was always such awesome discussion there... Luckily, everything that was right with OB has essentially happened here so that's pretty sweet.

Upon further review, i really cant say id rather have Glenn starting for us in November over Marve or Portis because Marve would have had more time in the system and with the players and as #2 (if brohm doesnt re-sign) would have been more game ready.. Imo.

It would be sad to see him retire but this thread is bang on.. We need to cut some weight from the hefty oline tab and hes kind of the odd man out at this point.. If he is willing to stick around on the IR or big pay cut id be happy but if not... Retirement or trade would be ideal..

Wondering if Newman and Hurl platoon at WIL? I really don't know enough about either one to say if this is a doable concept but this would potentially give us Canadians on both OLB spots if Sherman and someone else steps up. Personally, I'd rather put an international there and have Bucknor as CB again. hall wasn't against using a canadian in the secondary either if memory serves..

No, I have doubts about Glenn in weather lol. If it's at BC Place then Glenn no doubt but if it's here.. It's too close to call IMO. Marve has limited reps in the cold but looked like he could handle it.. Glenn has had ample reps in the cold and has shown to turtle and play horrible.. I simply don't know if I could take another game or two of those dead, zombie like eyes staring at the bench when the season hangs in the balance..

O-line.. It must be o-line. We are too close to getting it back to respectability and I'm pretty sure we want it to be all in house grooming, developing and rebuilding from within.. If that is the end game, we MUST keep stocking the depth..

Meh Volny had carries here.. Had more then enough to establish that he wasn't going to wow anyone nor become the next Cornish, McCarthy, messem or Walters.. He's decent enough to stuff in and get reasonable blocking and so-so ground game.. Never did see if he could catch out of the backfield.. At the end of the day, good soldier to have in the fold but not upset to replace him with another draft pick or international.

Show us proof that Glenn IS reliable in November.As soon as he sees his breath, he tanks. This is the side of the coin I like, it really does seem that way.. I'd be disappointed if we brought Glenn in unless it was at a crazy reduced rate and performance based all the way.. I'd rather roll with Marve, Portis and brohm if we get him back... glenn just doesn't seem to "want" it enough... Now.. If Brohm is a pipe dream then it becomes more murky.. Rookie vs Glenn is a tough call no doubt.. If we sign Glenn, is he #2 or 3? What kind of attitude does Glenn at #3 spot have? I'd want Marve at #2 for development and kind of feel he's earned it..
