Anderson said he *should* be ready for the first game of the season. My bet is he misses some regular season games this year. wow, dont go out on any ledges with that prediction lol. pretty sure odds are good you could throw darts at the roster and that player would miss time sometime this season.

No, Wild is awesome and I want him back somewhere on the field, but....the spot in the middle - I'd really like to see a more prototypical Barrin Simpson-type run stuffer in that spot. I've said it before .. I'll say it again (because I agree with the sentiment) .. I want an absolute thumper in the middle .. a guy with range and a guy who makes you think twice about running routes (or just plain running) inside .. find me an Elimimian .. a Bighill .. someone that has a dominating phyiscal presence. Two of the best MLBs to play in the cfl.. Yea, I'm pretty sure every fanbase and HC in the league wants one of them lol

If Pat Neufeld is healthy, he starts the season at either RG or RT....that guy is a damn good OL when healthy. The record of the team with him in the line-up vs out, was dramatically different, and you can make the case that he's a big part of that. Agree… just hope he can stay on the field..

Cuz imports are dime a dozen.. Blah blah blah.. Not every American can pick up the nuances of the CFL game.. How many wash out every year? Top tier american players are worth paying for because you know what your getting.. Bear woods would have been valuable, especially to us..

Heenan wont leave skatchy unless our offer is substantially more.. And cant be matched for whatever reason.. Put me in the camp that heenan is going to use FA to get highest dollar and then sign back home.. So we offee 300k and if he gets that from sask, we can try to offer more if we can afford it but if not, sask takes a big cap hit and im happy

Doug Brown seems to be pretty impossible to replace We could have drafted several since he left, but we didn't. What Canadian DL in the CFL is just as good as Doug Brown? I certainly don't know of any In defense to the WBB, we have drafted "New Doug Brown" but he's so good he's in the NFL... One could say, twice..

In theory anyway it should work like this but i think wild brings a bit more then just a LB.. long snapping, consistent, mostly healthy.. Plus seemed like a real character guy.. Played the teams like a beast.. Replaceable? Sure.. but he wasnt just a dime a dozen LB imo.
