  1. Whats bizarre is that people feel that this is a bad way of doing business.. Im of the belief that dont make noise until there reason to as well.. Why the need for info every step of every move tho... Baffling..
  2. Yup.. Its been pretty noticeable in the last few seasons.. Almost like he goes out of his way to argue the other side of the equation..
  3. Interesting. So you don't think Bucknor is good at playing man-D? Why do you say that?Man coverage without a safety.. Bucknor is probably getting burned.. Sad but true.. There is no shortage of DB's who are getting burned without safety help. Not sure why Bucknor has to be put in the spotlight for this. Most DBs can handle man coverage.. I simply dont know or believe Bucknor is capable to do so.. If its without someone over the top, bucknor will be beat more often then not.. From what ive seen anyway..

  5. Nowhere near enough credit for a guy like Bucknor ... he played great for us last year. Great? No let's not get delusional here. He was adequate. You bring the guy back for sure but let's not pretend the team wouldn't have continued along just fine without him. For a Canadian on the corner, he was great. Would we be worse off if he left? Yes. That statement is skewing your perception. Just because it's a low bar doesn't mean his play was great. He didn't **** up too badly that's all you really need out of the guy but I would suggest that if he leaves you just play an american in that position and actually improve your secondary overover all. Can likely find a way to replace the NI somewhere else. Maybe a linebacker position, maybe find a DL, maybe they even go with 3 receivers, or 4 OL. He's a useful player to have but he wasn't great. Starting Canadian corner who didn't embarrass himself continually and you don't see that as a great signing? At the very least, he gets bumped to 5th DB/STer/excellent backup... I'm confused as to why this irks you so.. He proved more then capable last season in a wonky defense.. Imma chalk it up to being argumentative simply to be argumentative because you had so much etch defense left to use and can't now lol
  6. Or is it because the Oilers are trying to win with back-up goalies? Both goalies have shown better in the past. Dubnyk, Bryzgalov, Fasth, Scrivens they all saw their numbers drop under Eakins. Bryzgalov Fasth and Scrivens all came in last year and looked real good, but time spent with Eakins killed them. It's quite apparent that a lot of people don't really follow the Oilers to see just how bad Eakins ****** that team up. I'm still laughing at the fact you said the oilers were making progress before Eakins.. What kinda progress? Most coaching failures? Most worst place finishes in their division? Lol. How about the fact they had increased their wins and point totals every year? Their goals against had gone down every year... you know that kind of progress, the kind you expect to see from a rebuilding team. Your comment here only proves my point that people don't actually look at what was going on there and only see "LOL 3 first overall picks" No... What I have seen is still no solution in goal, no defenseman worth mentioning and no real upward trend despite your attempt to sugarcoat.. Rebuilding? Sure.. To what? That best worst team in the conference? I get Edmonton is your team and all but there is something deeply rotten in that team..
  7. Cuz pav played well? Cuz team survived losing yet another defenseman? Cuz there was minimal to ***** and moan about?
  8. Must admit, for such a sad sack buncha players on our roster (this season and previous..) lotsa bomber and ex bombers pushing to snag work down south...
  9. I agree.. As the team that has, without a doubt, the worst canadian talent depth in the land... We simply cannot afford to kick players to the curb and hope to replace them.. We need to keep them around in case we don't land a better LB/DB to play teams or OL to push the guys currently rostered.. In an ideal world, sure we will replace the backup backups etc with better talent but one never knows.. If that means keeping them on the roster a bit longer, so be it..
  10. You were just dying for Hutch to have a less-than-stellar game so you could come in and make this post. So obnoxious. Time to grow up, mbrg. Did you seriously like your own post? Smh. Gooood... Gooooooooood... Let the butthurt flow thru you....
  11. Wowowowowow.. What a scumbag. Hope he gets his comeuppance in jail/lockup..

  13. Be a shame if someone flipped a match in that general area lol
  14. Throwing any money at heenan would only make Saskatchewan give up that much more... I'd rather throw the money at someone we would actually have a chance to land... Like Sears or maybe Holmes..
  15. Or to gauge what the future HC thinks about Washington and if he would want to keep him aboard.. Either way, I'd assume he's not avail anytime soon..
  16. Yea thats very true... Always new drafted.younger talent ready to push for jobs.. I think he can handle the competition tho.. Too smart and too sound a player to not at least have a very good chance..
  17. I truly wish someone could or would elaborate on these bad feelings or disgruntledness of Sears with our coaches or staff.. I'd never heard a rumour such as these but seems to be a few veiled insinuations here that he was unhappy (and i wouldn't blame him if true..) but is it assumptions or is it based on something?
  18. Good to see him getting in lots of games and action.. Shame cuz I doubt he will be back in the cfl for a long time.. Well, shame for the cfl but exceptional for him
  19. His stars are not amazing enough to justify swapping #1.and #2 tho... Hell, they ain't even good enough IMO to be 1a and 1b..
  20. But what about sisco aka "tha thong song guy"?
  21. Both Sears and wild are must signs if they don't land NFL gigs IMO.. Both are capable of game changing plays and wild is one of the best linebackers we've seen in ages..
  22. One person blamed pavs. Others correctly stated that hitch deserved more of an opportunity regardless of pavs. But hey whatever serves your narrative. Whats the rationale to support that claim tho? Pavs is the starter.. Hes not hurt nor is he in the midst of a lengthy losing streak.. Thats the criteria, to me anyway, to justify the change in starter..
  23. Shhhh. They really, really want it to be all on Pav.Who does? Not sure I'm seeing Pavs blaming here. Perhaps you are lost. Alright then. My mistake. Nope, no pavs blaming here lol. The guy is who he is.. Hes also the starter... He needs to suck... Alot more then he has to lose his job..
