You absolutely must know with the current coaching staff he will not be given the opportunity to start unless he is the last man standing. I look forward to the day when the Bombers have an OC that will play the appropriate QB for the appropriate situation instead of the one QB fits all scenario. My realistic hope is that they design a red-zone offence around Marve's talents and practice it enough to make use of it in games next season. They already have a Red zone offense setup for Marve, we have seen it numerous times (even in this game prior to brohms injury) Willy is #1 and he is so for a reason.. Id like to see a legit battle between brohm and Marve next season in TC and PS..

Me too... For a three hour mauler, he sure fell outta favour quickly.. Maybe the yard off the ball was too much for him? Sent him home early as he wasn't gonna get in game and come back for next seasons TC?

Oline wasn't very good, no offense.. Cotton hitting holes with authority and not dancing around and brohms quick release and Marves sick footwork made them look better..

You are clearly delusional as I've rarely if ever "gone after" anyone this season.. I've been optimistic and continued to look for the positives in the sea of negatives. Not my fault you chose to dwell on all the downer side of things day in and day out.. It must be miserable, being a fan like you are.. Constantly hating everything you see and hear.. Dragging on your conscious and all that.. Couldn't and wouldn't want to support any of my teams that way..

And that's what it's all about - Progress. Whether the absent minded want to believe it or not, we made great strides this year considering where we were at this time last year. No reason to believe we won't do the same again next season. Exactly.. We HAVE improved at some key spots... QB looks very promising, Lirim is getting better and better and our secondary is mean.. Do we have a lot of work ahead still? Yup. Doesn't mean we have to fold tents and start lighting torches as some here want to do..

Marve has looked really good.... In extremely limited action. Let's remember how well QBs without game film have done against us.. If he gets a start next season or 2 and keeps looking as good as he has (IE when DC's get to game plan against him) then we can start to get excited... Also, lack of knee ligaments and that much running makes me worry..

Both of the above posts make me think the bombers yet again snuck into iso and krunchs house and upper deckered their toilets and peed into their corn flakes.. The ire and anger is so bewildering.. We are in the midst of a rebuild and we HAVE improved over last season.. Why not just sit back and watch the procedure do its thing without acting like a jilted boyfriend.. Guy quit on his time whilst throwing the team under the bus and there is actually people questioning it or even supporting grigsby here? For real?? The guy showed his true colours.. We should all be happy this came out now and not before he entrenched himself as our bonafide starter going into next season..

Lol wut? How is demoting Grigsby panic? Nobody said get rid of him, just to give Volny the starter job. If we decided to bench Willy because of the last game, that would be panic, but Grigsby's position is not one that he has locked down or one that he should look at as his with no competition. If you want a RB that hits the line or finds the hole with no hesitation, put in Volny who'll run straight downhill. Besides with all the rave about him being a great special teamer, that to me warrants making him the premier back here taking at least 80% of the carries. You want a back that won't go down with arm tackles, stick him in. Ya wanna get technical, nobody is saying make Volny the starter save for you..

As we haven't had a report from practice worth noting in MONTHS, I'm hesitant to say it's the fact they are lacklustre... But hey, if you would rather assume they are garbage, more power to ya..

I think january would have some value but not very much.. 3rd or 4th rounder at the most.. Watson is valuable contrary to popular belief.. He could be an excellent backup and ST guy.. He just doesnt seem to have the body to roll as a full time, full contact player anymore unfortunately.. With that in mind, unless we got exceptional value for him id be hesitant to move him as our depth is so damn atrocious.. So a higher round draft pick or solid backup stuck behind great depth would be what id want back..
