Time For The CFL To Levy Fines On The Refs For Tacky Calls
SPuDS replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Is diving a penalty in the cfl cuz medlock.. Come on man... Also, if you are blocked into the kicker, isnt it not a penalty? -
Signing him to be our backup would've been nice.Crompton had the misfortune to be in Edmonton when the circus was at Commonwealth, much like Elliott was here in Winnipeg last year, so in both cases, their real value was unknown.I'm just nitpicking, but Elliott wasn't here last year. It was the year before.I stand (sitting actually- its hard to type while standing up) corrected. Not if you have one of these: Is that you in the picture? You're a little more "feminine" than I pictured you. I wish. I could use a frapaccino right about now.Plus....I'd have my own boobs. Oh you have your own boobs.. Don't lie.. They just called moobies.. I wish. But I'm skinny. How is this a bad thing? Lack of moobies is probably better for you in almost every way possible with the exception of boredom killing lol

Free Press (Fan Vote) Picking All-Time Blue Bomber Greats
SPuDS replied to comedygeek's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
With most of these lists it's tough to make a poor choice. yep, unlike the Riders the Bombers have a rich historyWho's the troll? Gee I wonder. I don't think a guy on his home forum can really be called a troll when poking fun of a rival fan... But that's just me.. -
So what season did Devin Tyler perform on SNL anyway?

Easy solution. Go to the game live. Would love too but... got things to do until about 430. Can't make it to as many games as i've wanted too. Family and Life get in the way of going to games at times. I hear ya man.. Wife works craaaaaaaazy schedule and forward drive and our two year old is all encompassing.. Hope to bring her next year to some games tho.. -
Not sure if serious.... *inserte frye meme here*

Don't forget this now : Done because of the rider billboards... So can this really be your defense?
-
Yea it's kinda weird how we are the league capable of crapping our pants in a game... Well, if you listened to some posters here anyway.. Hamilton is just as capable of really dumb penalties, dropsies, QB poor play, defensive miscues, etc etc..

Such optimism! Much faith like comments!

Sprains n strains can be played on.. They can be aggravated and they can hold up perfectly fine... The key with a strain/sprain is that no structural or permanent damage is caused by them.. With that being said, you can create a chronic pain situation if you never let one heal up properly... Also, I believe a shoulder sprain/strain is more easily managed then say an ankle, elbow or knee..

nice. And i agree.. Glenn being a bomber would have been a horrendous move and set us back years..

Bang on.. When d-lines and LBs become huge again, scat backs and stokes/thigpen type players excel.. then it will shift again to smaller front sevens again and bruising RB/FB become all the rage.. The only real constant is you always want big, fast, speedy receivers and big, athletic, smart DBs..
-
Sooooo.. Who's left? Lol

That INT in overtime was beyond belief. For a guy in the league for that long...yikes. Yea when I saw that wobbly garbage pass I was in such disbelief... Then the riders pooch the FG and STILL manage to win... I cannot fathom how Ottawa lost that game..

The Hamilton Tiger Cats say NO Well he didn't throw any big interceptions near the end of the game so that's a plus. insult to burris or insult to willy? Gotta love them backhanded slights..

but he was a run of the mill FB, but he was an adopted local so the mob hyped him up to be more than he wasI think you are letting your hate of the riders colour your opinion.. He was durable, hard to stop, soft hands and very effective... Agree to disagree i suppose..How was that different from any number of fullbacks? At the time the position was different, there were lots of guys of that type around.Pretty sure if you matches szarkas stat lines with all other FB during his career, hes near the top of the pack.. Unfortunately,.you cant measure his blocking or protection without watching a pile of rider videos and aint nobody got time fer dat.. He had some longevity, but the only reason he's still talked about is because he was a popular Rider and they love to over inflate the value of those types. Did you know Rider fans used to try and say he was just as good as Mike Sellers? Yea i remember that.. And he was a smaller, less.powerful, less.slow, less capable version i suppose lol.. But thats a mighty high bar to set for comparison sake..

Should The Redblacks Start Joey Elliot This Week Against SSK?
SPuDS replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The best part of this game is that he's been pretty inaccurate, lot of missed throws, but he's still taking it to the Riders D. He is kinda bishoping it up out there... Scramble or hammer it in there.. -
