So now we can forgive Walters for the Korey Banks transaction? No mistakes are still mistakes. We can talk about good and bad without having to ignore one or the other. Soon the stomach and chest pad will be the only fair spots to hit and they will have impact meters that tell the ref the defender was being too mean with his tackle.. I get it, I do.. QB driven league and we need to keep the QBs protected but at what cost? Making it impossible to sack them or hit them hard and clean? Defenders have been taught, ingrained into their psyche to get at the QB as fairly as possible but to out him down. HARD. that is football folks.. QBs need to protect themselves and offences need to protect QBs better.. We can't simply mold the game to protect QBs without ripping out some of the heart of our game..

He's not going to win any distance awards unless wind assisted or awesome bounces but his consistency has improved alot..

I dont think ive ever seen him tap his helmet or pat his chest insinuating "my bad" its always reciever, RB, oline or coaches fault.. Cant deny his skills and toughness (when vega tackles you and you dont move an inch, thats tough) but his attitude and mental toughness both stink..

From his reaction, he clearly thought it was a pass attempt ie dead ball... O'shea and marcel need to instill in him that if the balls on the turf, you close by you better be at the bottom of that dog pile!
