i havent really found too much to be upset about with our offense as a whole in the last two games.. sure, hall has got crushed a few times, smacked around on others but has figured out the offense enough to get the ball out rfn to survive and move chains.. coupled with a decent threat and blocker at RB to keep the defense honest, the offense has found its groove.. far too early for excitement but at least its improvement.. almost good enough to beat the division leader..

do they tho? they are the only summer sport in town of any worth... have a rich history and a brand new stadium and have a dedicated fanbase.. they also know that this will eventually turn around... now, should they flaunt that and say such things as mentioned? no, of course not but i also have to assume the person calling was being a little uncouth towards the team and the cust service reps bosses..

the answer is far more simpler.. it's just that our o-line sucks.. every QB behind centre has been under siege all season..

Hall of the last two games is leagues ahead of Hall to start.. he is learning how to run a cfl offense and to read defenses.. he has progressed nicely and wouldnt be overly concerned if he won #1 spot out of camp or ended up #2 behind whomever (if any) FA QB we sign..

for serious dood? thats a tad harsh for a guy who has 2 kickoff returns for TDs and is starting to make headway as a RB.. his feet never stop and hes normally able to survive first contact.. also, his blocking is better no? id protect him for surely..

Easy to say that, but when you look around the league it's just not the case. Hamilton has an above average OL, are Brian Simmons and Marc Dile dominant? Not so sure. Toronto has Tony Washington, he's good but not dominant. BC has a couple big names, but has either carried their weight this year? Not to the point of being called dominant. Stanley Bryant in Calgary and Xavier Fulton in Saskatchewan are possibly the best examples of great import tackles, but that's still just 2 tackles out of 10-15 starting import T's in the league. It's easy to SAY it, but not so easy to actually accomplish it. yup. its not that simple as people think to find tackles, even down in the states.. they are rare due to the fact that if they can play, they are in the NFL.

it also would be nice if the O-line could give him more than 1.5 steamboats to pick a target and throw. Hall was rushing almost every throw as on almost every throwing play there was a free Alouette coming at him unblocked. I know that this may have been "designed" - but to just let a guy run at our QB unblocked on almost every play? Really? They highlighted a play yesterday where our o-line didn't even shift in covering a 5-man Montreal rush. Amazing how even when we are man-on-man, we are outnumbered. yeah that was brutal. Two o-linemen took the same guy and left a Montreal D-man completely untouched to walk in on Hall. To his credit, Hall stood in there and got the ball out quick. I think he's realized that he has to make quick throws as he will only be given 2 seconds tops to get the ball away, on every single passing play. Our O-line is just plain awful. I still am scratching my head at how we won that game yesterday. Montreal truly looked like they were trying to lose. Is the mob now controlling that team like they control everything else in Montreal? well i imagine a bet for montreal to not make the playoffs would pay off huge if it came to pass lol.. shame it would require us to win 3 more in a row..

yeah. But we should also get Lulay as insurance in case Hank gets hurt and Collaros doesn't pan out. that should buy us enough time for our clone of joe montana to grow to maturity..

Our coaching is poor. literally the only logical solution to this as well.. boltus is brutal in short yardage.. Goltz is easily the better of the two..
