yea I was wondering about that too.. I know TSN loves to laud over a big name but Gable doesn't rank very high on my list of blocking backs.. not that I have watched him a ton but he didn't seem to be all that amazing at it for what I have seen..

he hasn't been great but he has looked good in spurts. People need to give him some time to come back into his own. Hes skating hard, he has an active stick and doesn't look pensive or worried about hurting himself. I expect he will regain form. I don't think hes looked poor really beyond the few moments, one being what frosty had mentioned.

How do you figure he looked out of place? He hit his receivers, he got yards with his feet. he looked semi-slow on his reads but thats to be expected coming off the bench cold. the expectations around here continue to astound me daily. "our backup isn't bo levi mitchell in his greatness! cut him!" or "Drew Wolitarsky dropped 1 pass out of 2! Cut him!" smh.

Uh.. wut? he looked smooth and fast.

And does it well imo. he dropped the ti-cat RB cold a few times and did it again for small gains a few other times.. I believe he was the last line of defense on at least 2 tackles where if he hadn't stopped or held up the RB, it was going to be a long gain.

ya they really caught us napping but it was borderline perfection in its execution, it even rolled into a spot that made it easier for them to get it.. just a perfect storm of crapiness for us on that play.
