  1. 2-1 Jets after 1. Slow start but the Jets are picking it up nicely! Keep the pressure on Jets ...
  2. Add Nedo’s skate cut leg to a number of unusual injuries and sicknesses (Schief’s mystery ouchy about a month or so ago, plus Valardi’s recent one for example) that have befallen the Jets this season. If you factor in even coach Bones having to take time off, and guys like Toffoli missing time for sickness, this has been as weird a season for injuries, flus, etc., that I can recall. Let’s hope we can keep everyone healthy from here on in 👍🏻
  3. Winnipeg Jets players every Spring … Winnipeg Jets fans every December …
  4. Unfortunately we lost to a team last night without about 3 or four of their top players ... just sayin ...
  5. Our “other team’s cast offs” have played pretty well this year (and last year as well). It still seems that draft and development and high end trade or FA’s produce the best results however. An argument can be made that that is exactly what the Jets have tried to do. Perhaps the signings or traded players aren’t as good as advertised? Also, are our top guys really as good as we’ve been told? Do top players wilt at pressure times, missing open nets or passing to nowhere and allowing the other team possession to score the winner in OT?There’s still some time left, but it remains to be seen what we actually are (including coaching quality as well) …
  6. The lot of the true sports fan 😊
  7. 🥲 Very underrated coach and person … RIP Coach …
  8. ... and a bounus, a rare pic of Chris Walby in a suit (CBC days LOL). Also a very young Walby ...
  9. This is the safe play considering all the turnover in personel in pro sports This is a classic though ...
  10. Whining to Friesen in an article is far from professional in my humble opinion, but to each his own I guess …
  11. For the Bombers, signing some of these guys was a very Bighill to climb 😉
  12. Interesting comment from a guy who soon will be replaced …
  13. I was referring to Taman (fired less than two years after the 2013 Grey Cup) ... They've never been back to the Cup, thanks Brendan, whatever you did to that organization is still reaping rewards ... 😉
  14. He was a division or league All-Star every single season he played for the Bombers. Incredible to think what he could have accomplished if he dedicated himself to lifestyle more consistently as opposed to just relying on talent 😳
  15. I probably should have said “middle of the pack” then. I’m just so used to referring to anything Riders as mediocre these last 5 years 😉
  16. Sheed is great and loves Winnipeg but this is a harsh industry and he’s 30 and not getting any younger. He can still perform at a high level but he’s really our number 4 receiver and can be replaced (at least talent wise) with a 20 something guy. This isn’t 2019 or even 2021 anymore. The Bombers realize they have to get younger and sign the important younger players to remain competitive. Why do you think the three big signings this offseason where guys in their 20’s? The great teams retool, the Buffalo Sabres of the sports world tear everything down and start from scratch.
  17. I’m very happy the Bombers have acted this quickly to shore up a loss on the line (how much remains to be seen). If he doesn’t work out, our talented Canadian starters will allow our GM to find a talented import tackle somewhere. This is why signing Brady was so important. 👍🏻
  18. Translation? “Whew, so glad I’m out of Regina!” 😉
