BREAKING: Moose Returning to MTSC Next Season
IC Khari replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Mick E. Moose will be so conflicted ... -
Now this is more like the Preds team I expected at the start of the season, you shouldn't have messed with Olli Jokinen Speaking of Olli, so many great gifs of him on the web, this one makes little sense but I like it ...

Bombers get a B+ in TSN free agency report card

He, he, he ... Riders get a C ... -
Gutsy Win!!! Very proud of this team! Don't forget we were without Buff, Little AND Perrault. Amazing job Chevy has done re: detpth, and perhaps, it very well may be the key to keep us in the race. We were due to beat Pekka Rinne and we did for the first time ever now it's on to St.Louis to hand them their first loss against us ...

I still think this team can get in, every other playoff challenging squad has a tough sked as well as us, and injuries as we've seen, can happen to any team at any time with the level of intensity of play at this time of year. I think this team can play well enough to get in, the other guys will have to step it up like they did when the Defence went down. No Buff now but thanks to Chevy we have some depth that will not leave us totally high and dry. Speaking of Buff, I can't help but think much of his improved play or desire to play stems from two things, Maurice's influence, and his better level of fitness. He was really out of shape later on in Chicago and in Atlanta and brought that here the first few seasons ... This is his Blackhawks days playing weight. His early Jets playing days ... ... and now. Looks like Buff has bought in, too bad about his injury, hopefully he gets back in time to help make a difference this season!

Nice wheels ...

Gotta keep perspective as a fan, I'd be quite satisfied if the Jets dominated the rest of the games like that. The breaks will come and they'll pop some of those chances. Last night they faced a guy who, while playing well in Goal, also had a horseshoe up his butt and doesn't know the difference between Alfred E. Newman and the Hamburglar.

Through an exhaustive search I found some pictures of Stuart Olson and architect Ray Wan's previous projects ...

Ottawa stole this plain and simple, with a hot goalie and hanging on (kinda like the Dallas game with Pavelec a few months back). The Sens had 3 shots in the 3rd period ...

How last night went down is punishment for trading Klingberg

I like this set up (Ottawa back to back nights) but in the past this has been a perfect trap game for the Jets. No longer, this team is much better than any team we saw in the past three seasons. We win this and go to 78 points!

I doubt it. I think it would have been mentioned at some point if they were.

How could you forget John Bonk?

Shea Pierre, Kevin Smellie, Sandy Beverage, Pat Woodcock, Tom Canada, Wonderful Monds, Randy Rhino, Molly McGee, Yo Murphy, Grannville (Granny) Liggins, John Bonk and many others... classic CFL names, you can't make this stuff up ...

Watching the way the Jets played defence against the Blues and especially the Kings the last two games, I couldn't help but wonder if we are underselling the potential of the team THIS year. Not saying they are going to be favoured in any series if they get in to the playoffs, but because of the weardown/playoff style of hockey the Jets actually play on most nights, they might catch some contenders by surprise (especially if they get into a 7 game series). With a steady/regular number one goaltender and further contributions from the recent additions as well as injured players (Perreault and Chiarot) returning, could this team not be one of the surprise playoff teams that seem to show up every year (ie. the 2003 Minnesota Wild)? The penalty thing had me worried up until a few games ago and then suddenly they seemed to get that reasonably under control. Not sure if that's because they recognize they can't fool around with that anymore as the games are much more meaningful, but it has improved. I'm picking the Jets to be the upset special team in the first round (no matter who it is they play). Lets just get to the playoffs guys!

Looks like it's going to be the same as last game except Wheeler will play on the third line ... Andrew Ladd - Bryan Little - Michael Frolik Jiri Tlusty - Mark Scheifele - Drew Stafford Chris Thorburn - Adam Lowry - Blake Wheeler Adam Pardy - Jim Slater - Anthony Peluso Toby Enstrom - Tyler Myers Jay Harrison - Dustin Byfuglien Mark Stuart - Jacob Trouba

All the horses have to run in this one for the Jets to win. LA won't be happy about the Ducks comeback win over them last game so I look for them to come out hard against us. Big Buff needs to get back to his pre All - Star type of play and having Wheeler back in with the addition of the new guys should help. Looking for another close defensive battle ...

Blue Bombers To Hold Mini-Camp in Florida in April

Some of my favorite FA camp moments ever ... -
Very good move and worth the wait by Chevy, Tlusty is a slick player with the upside of age and joining some friends here (perhaps it might help Frolik and him decide to sign on for a few more ). We'll be pretty good when Perrault and Wheeler get back ...

Lewis is older and fat but still effective (like some of us actually), Montreal picked up a couple of good players today.
