  1. He's a prep coach for QBs entering college or the NFL. A lot like what Marc Trestman does during his offseasons. He just does it all year round. Dahlquist has worked with recent QBs like Marcus Mariota, Zach Mettenberger and Tajh Boyd. He also helped prep Terrell Pryor for the NFL. Ya, just did that for all the panicky types ... His resume is solid as far as I'm concerned, he's perfectly qualified to be a QB coach for the Bombers. Just glad this team finally entered the 2000's and hired one
  2. He worked the last number of years as a "special consultant" ... sounds familiar
  3. Finally is what I say.
  4. Speaking of old QB's ... this pic is crazy and has a CFL HOF in it ... it was taken in 1961, the story is here ... http://thestacks.deadspin.com/fourteen-nfl-quarterbacks-play-nice-in-a-chicago-photo-1472029686/1472553327/@tcraggs22 Photo Credit: Ralph Morse—Time & Life Pictures/Getty Images Above, back row, l-r: Milt Plum, Bobby Layne,* Sam "The Rifle" Etcheverry, Bill Wade, Bart Starr,* Johnny Unitas,* Norm Snead, Zeke Bratkowski; front row, l-r: Jim Ninowski, Fran Tarkenton,* Don Meredith, John Brodie, Sonny Jurgensen,* Y.A. 8. Give him a shot, worth the risk as he is from here and has some experience ...
  9. That's also the QB I'd like to bring back Course he's in his 60's now so he doesn't scamble and throw on the run as well ...
  10. CFL Official Feed ‏@CFL 38m Paris Jackson granted his release "to pursue a more significant playing role on another #CFL club." - http://ow.ly/tSsmL
  11. Speaking of random ... https://twitter.com/AshWagner2010/status/436061975907688448/photo/1 Ashton Kutcher LOL ...

  13. I'm 52 and still fit my 32 jeans. I play hockey once or twice a week and try to keep active. That being said, I would agree that the majority of fans are out of shape and prolly need the larger fit jersey. Except for those with health or mobility issues, agreeing with that does not endorse the excuse for the lifestyle of inacitivty or obesity however
  14. Did someone at the BB org actually have the stones to say this? Im pretty sure our 3rd jersey royal blues are selling more than the garbage home and away. Oh and speaking of away... we literally have the worst away jerseys in North America? Try the world, even worse than some of those putrid WLAF unis in the 90's

  16. In layman's terms, this is the new Bomber jersey ...
  17. Good move, I can't see his play dropping off too much (even with his age) by the end of this current contract. After that he can retire a Bomber
  18. What's my name? Just AXE me ...
  19. Good player and also a really good person. Congrats on a great career Terrence ... sorry you couldn't get a Cup but at least you played in three. Hope you can have a role with the Bombers going forward.
  20. From one of the Riderfans on their site ... LOL
  21. He's only 24 years old. Ya, thought he was 28 for some reason, which is still not too old but older by NFL standards. Hope he sticks for his sake, hope he comes back for ours
  22. In the 2009 season (the Kelly year ) ITunes offered the full CFL season for purchase via season pass (uploaded the next day after the game I believe). Would be nice to have something like NHL Gamcenter for CFL but obviously not realistic considering demand/cost etc.
  23. Hope for the best for Chris down there but I think his speed or lack of, and age will ultimately see him come back North, hopefully with us.
  24. To be fair the Bombers did draft a couple of solid o-lineman in the years from 2004 - 2013, Labatte and Picard ... very good players that could anchor a line for years to come. Problem is they were starting for the Riders and not the team that drafted them last year If there's one thing that hurt Mack and the Bombers more than anything else in his time here (his 2nd year here I think), it was the FA defection of Brendan L. Never adequately replaced. One would have thought with all the early selections in 2011, 2012 and 2013 that he could have found someone on the o-line that would have been almost as good. If not, trading a first rounder for an established NI o-lineman is not out of the question and it's not like it hasn't been done before. Instead Mack drafted everything but top quality o-lineman (like Etienne with the 4th pick) and just "hoped" one of the lower picks would work out. It works when your line is solid to begin with I guess, but not when you need to replenish quickly. Love Muamba but when you think about it, would it not have been better to trade that pick for a a quality o-lineman (for the ratio) and use an import at MLB? Maybe that time no one wanted to trade with Mack perhaps, hard to say, all I know is I don't believe everything that could have been done during that time to address the issue was done. Dead horse beating I guess ...
