Not all Riderfans are unhappy to see Bomberfans arrive this weekend and rub their lousiness in their dirty faces. They are actually hoping we can show them how to get rid of Jones like we did with Mike Kelly. When I thought how pathetic their team was I didn't have the heart to tell them it might involve hiring Lyle Bauer ... Some of the fans have been drinking the green koolaid so long they're positively giddy about the new Rider regime ... Unfortunately some Riderfans have "given up on the CFL" and they're quickly trying to sell their tickets anyway they can ... At any rate, it's time for some "deliverance" from that crappy Bomber record in these games the past 12 seasons!

So sad, one of the all time greats, these memes will never be the same again ...

I understand that, just wondering if what Irving was hinting at (about Toronto really wanting Willy, even at his current salary) is really all that accurate? Yes I know it's Bob Irving ...

Sure, he may be able to do something with Willy, but remember, Willy is not a young QB anymore. He's got a very high salary and his play has not been up to the standard of his pay scale or his experience/maturity in the league. Would he be willing to work with a guy that age or start brand new with an up and comer?

Could Davis do any worse than Willy did? Seriously ... no I'm serious.

... and yet that money issue may become a problem with our playoff push. I could see a move, I'm hoping it's for some very good pieces if so. I am old enough (even though I was a kid) to remember the Bombers trading Don Jonas to Hamilton for Chuck Ealey, That didn't end well for both teams like they thought it would IIRC. We can't give Willy away, not matter how much he's making.

He wants to be a top 4 RIGHT defenceman ... he's not right now and with Buff and Myers I can't see that changing anytime soon. I think that's the issue.

I can't see Willy being out and out cut, but financials are a big deal in this league (well to every team EXCEPT the Riders LOL ). I wouldn't be surprised at anything in regards to his future with this team.
