Not that easy, if Willy is not doing the right things (to put it in layman's terms) it's harder for them to "help him out". It appears (mainly by the results) that Nichols is doing the right things, therefore the team can work together better.

Yep, he can beat all the Western teams now and the Eastern ones that would be involved in a crossover (if we needed it)

Burris should just retire with his dignity, check that, some of his dignity still in tact. It's only a matter of time before Harris comes back and takes his job for good. Henry is over 40 and while last year was a good one, it looks like a bit of an anomaly ... his game is not going to get better, just worse. IMO the less prima donnas in the league the better ...

We can only go by the present as the past is irrelevant considering the levels of play. The smart coach will go with the player who gives us the best chance to win consistently ultimately, this year it's been Nichols.

Water under the bridge I guess, just happy they are finally realizing the personnel blunders and fielding a team that gives us a chance now. This really reminds me of when Dave Ritchie stubbornly started Kerwin Bell (who was doing nothing) in 2000 until they finally relented and unleashed Khari Jones in a game in Edmonton. Kerwin Bell went to the Argos and the rest is history ...

... as of right now we're in one! The Bombers are alone in the West in third place with 6 points. True we've played one more game than the Esks, but I'm enjoying it right now (I'm enjoying the Riders bringing up the rear in 5th almost as much as well ).

Man seeing that WHA Jet's style jersey gets me excited. So many memories of amazing Jet's teams in that uniform!
