  1. I don't know why the **** cops seem to think it's illegal to film them. They should all have body cameras at all times.
  2. Bakari grant
  3. Considering the source not sure why this was even discussed?
  4. Bitching about how cold I was at the grey cup parade when I was 6.
  5. Gable
  6. No one wants brohm. Stop trying to make brohm having trade value happen
  7. Usually mac fans are more vocal and like the announce that they switched over and comment on how great macs are because they want to justify paying triple the price for a name brand. I like to compare it to the women who try to justify spending 250 dollars on a pair of jeans that look and work exactly the same as a regular 30 dollar pair. I own a PC laptop it was like 350 dollars which in mac equivalence I think I'd get a wirless mouse and keyboard for my money. I may be the wrong person to ask though since I really only use it to write papers, use excel and think or swim. I can't see buying a 1200 dollar computer to do that but who knows. But I'm gonna be dammed if I'll let you disparage hot girls in expensive tight jeans. That's the reason I get up in the morning and they aren't gonna look as good in jeans from old navy.
  8. http://www.ctvnews.ca/business/what-the-trans-pacific-partnership-trade-talks-mean-for-canada-1.2489255 what does everyone think of TPP? Seems most canadians aren't aware of it. I'm all for it, especially happy if it destroys supply management in the dairy industry. I think tarrifs are a hinder to economic development and supply management is poor economic policy.
  9. Type II diabetes kills more people in the US than handguns and terrorism put together but people don't seem to be scared of that.
  10. Do those 30 minutes of commercials include the two 5 minute news breaks? Or is it 30 + 10 leaving 20 minutes for callers? You used to be able to download it as a pod cast and the run time was like 23 minutes
  11. With a lady friend? unfortunately not with a member of the fairer sex
  12. Positive: I was in Minneapolis so I didn't have to watch it
  13. He really glenned it on that pick
  14. Lets hope the riders lose tonight
  15. And a bridge needs to be built around morris
  16. I don't really give a **** about the award to be honest. I didn't realize the thread had taken such a turn. I'm just not a fan of when anyone paints an entire segment of the population with a brush based on one similar attribute or tries to deny them their basic rights. If that makes me holier than thou I guess I better order a throne.
  17. I think max powers is the most ignorant person about Christianity. I don't even think the broader view of the Christian church is that homosexuals are suffering from mental illness
  18. It's his high profile job on TSN that makes people think he's a good HC, when he really isn't. And it was his clueless GM and lack of a back-up QB that makes people think he's an awful HC, when he really isn't. Good players make good coaches. In his first year with the team Lapo had Pierce and Jyles as his #1 and #2 qbs. Both experienced CFL players and well suited to their respective roles. The backup qb issue was more when Tim Burke was in charge and perhaps if he hadn't taken an irrational dislike to Joey Elliott the problems wouldn't have been so bad. Yes Joey Elliott would have saved the team. That's why he is the franchise qb for what team again?
  19. And that Bruce Jenner is trans gender because his adopted daughters are annoying attention whores?
  20. Why don't you enlighten us on what your opinions are since we seem to understand them so poorly
  21. A lot more. I'm pretty sure that influence had a lot to do with states adopting a 21 year old drinking age too.
  22. An article caught my eye today making me wonder how far the ban on sharing is going to go http://www.ctvnews.ca/business/toronto-app-that-matches-drivers-with-parking-spots-violates-bylaws-city-says-1.2481180 Apparently it illegal to let someone use your parking spot when you are not around. I can appreciate that someone wouldn't want their neighbor letting 5 cars park on their lawn and that it might violate a by-law, but is it the fact that they are renting out the space the issue? or would it be just as much a problem if they happened to own 5 cars and parked them on their own lawn I'm pro smaller government and feel that we live in a country that is far to regulated. I understand that some industries need regulation for safety, food service healthcare etc, but should taxis really be regulated? I hear a lot of safety concerns being touted about uber, but numerous taxi drivers have been convicted or accused of assaulting vulnerable female passengers. As an adult should I not be free to get into a car with whoever I want? By the same token, I could get mugged making a transaction on kijiji and a girl could be putting herself in a compromising meeting a stranger from tinder, should those apps be shut down in the name of safety? If uber is an unlicensed taxi service, is kijiji an unlicensed retail store? How far is it going to go, am I allowed to give my friend a ride to the airport? I'm I going to get pulled over and verify how long we've been friends for or disclose if he's going to be paying me for gas? I can see why taxi drivers are upset about uber, but I feel like typewriter manufactures were probably upset about personal computers. Is it the government's job to make sure the taxi industry exists and is profitable? curious to know everyone's thoughts.
  23. never understood why we build roads out of something that isn't solid enough that it can't be brought up by hand with a pick axe. Asphalting the same roads, (lage and bishop paticularly) every year in different sections has to be more expensive in the long run then building it properly with concrete.
  24. Nope. I'm not bigoted. What you're describing is bigotry but thats not me. I don't judge anyone based on their religion, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or otherwise. There are many people who share your religion but not your views. I don't have any 'intolerance' to them. I judge people on their individual actions and beliefs. I don't even think you arent entitled to your opinion. I think you are perfectly entitled to it, just not entitled to suggest your opinion should deprive anyone else from their basic rights. You are judging an entire group of peoplle based on one single similarity. That is the very definition of bigotry and prejudice.
