I thought they were getting away from the octopus?

So, if you toss your hat on the ice, you should be banned? Banned without mercy. And flogged. And forced to watch the leaves play. You're banned from this historical society. You and your children, and your children's children, and your children's children's children......... for 6 months

I doubt sears makes it 2 years. Sears isn't going anywhere anytime soon. They're still a retail powerhouse and they understand how to keep it sustainable. http://business.financialpost.com/2014/10/02/sears-canada-tragedy-seen-as-victim-of-overreach-by-u-s-hedge-fund-tycoon-edward-lampert/ 9 losses in 14 quarters? I'm not bullish.

Any chance Will Smith gets cut and comes back? -
they are going through bankruptcy too, so all their leases will be cancelled. Think we are going to see some vacant stores for a while.

They all cheat -- so in that respect, "cheating" isn't really cheating, it's keeping up! That's the sad fact but Lewis was looked on in America as a superstar & a hero. It's really too bad he was never caught. He was never caught but he did confess not too long ago that he was using steroids back then. He actually was caught several times earlier but they swept it under the rug. Watch the 30 for 30, its very good.

Speech issue has nothing to do with HGH. I'm mostly convinced he used HGH during his ACL recovery. I suspect he's a regular user but not as certain there. Nah, he honestly doesn't fit the profile. Not that I would hold it against him if he did. Speech issue with HGH? Thats a new one. Well I saw on the 30 for 30 on Ben Johnson that affects your jaw/teeth so that doesn't seem impossible. Ben wasn't on HGH. He was on the standard gear and had come off perfectly to beat the test (like everyone else) but the moron got nervous and took some Winstrol, which they picked up immediately. Still, an outstanding athlete. Travesty really. Talk about getting a speeding ticket at the Indy 500 They were suggesting Carl Lewis and others were and thats why they suddenly needed braces even though they were adults.

Riders release; Bombers sign Dominic Picard

Morley got ejected in one game so that may have skewed his penalty minutes somewhat...I think it was against the Riders.. Maybe but GBills quote was saying Morley lead the league in penalties, not penalty minutes. Not sure there is a penalty minutes in football exactly. It's not like they get called for Holding and sit out for 2 minutes. Not a bad idea actually, maybe not 2 minutes but have the offending player removed for 2 plays. It would certainly be an interesting "twist" for the CFL to pursue. It would make for some dynamic play calling on both offence and defence and might help cut down on penalties to boot. Yeah right. QB takes a time count and then what? LT takes a holding penalty in the fourth quarter after you've run out of linemen on the bench and you have to throw Jake Thomas in there for a couple plays. Not practical in football. what if the whole dline is offside? Chuck the oline on there for two plays? -

K-Groh is just not good enough... Gott or Picard can play guard as well - nothing wrong with an interior of Deane-Gott-Picard, move McMillan to RT, draft more OL Picard will probably cost $130-150k - not sure that breaking the bank on Holmes or Heenan is the right move for Ottawa, they need receivers and DBs Burris may die this year if Picard is one of his Gaurds From excitement! Nope that isn't why... I lol'd -

according to this http://retail.petro-canada.ca/en/fuelsavings/2139.aspx 10 cents to the feds, 14 to the province, a flat tax regardless of price. Naturally, gst floats. With the TSX falling below 14K on pretty pedestrian volume, I wouldn't be surprised to see it test support at 12 or 11.5 in the next few months. So GST generated in dollars from gasoline sales should drop, right? The Federal budget could be affected. What did everyone miss in May when oil prices were flying? Did the supply and demand issues just materialize? Is the very rapid rise in the U.S. Dollar influencing the oil price, unduly? Hadn't really though about the gst impact as much as the royalties received by the govt. Either way its bad for the budget. I guess a couple things happened. No one bothered to think "hey we just got access to a billion barrels of something, will that affect the price. That combined with the slowdown in Asia, the stalling in Europe and OPEC willing to wait everyone else out to retain market share created a bit of a perfect storm. The market is funny in how it will react incredibly quickly to some things on its own, and other things seem to stew until a catalyst triggers something.
