  1. Quit ragging on Fraser
  2. I like keeping the Friday open too.
  3. Is Walker a good blocking back? I don't recal him being one.
  4. I might be in the minority but I like the elddest daughter and the blonde milf the best.
  5. Maher didn't ask to leave.A bit different. He was trying to make the team so missing the second pre season would have put him at a disadvantage.Turner is on the team. Seems Maher should have asked to leave. Was released a few days later so now he missed the birth of his kid AND doesn't have anything to show for it. Seemed that backfired there is a saying about hindsight. I've forgotten how it goes though.
  6. Worth keeping a bottle of the cheap stuff around in case somone wants a rusty nail or a rob roy. If you wanna lay out the dough for a 'good bottle' may as well get a single malt
  7. Leave it to some Bomber fans to find coal instead of diamonds in just about everything. #wejustsuckbecauseitfeelsright I don't think anyone is compaing him that. I think people are just suggesting that we aren't assured anything after one great game. chickens shouldn't be counted until the hatch etc and so forth.
  8. No, it's just that one game does not make a benchmark for future expectations.
  9. Well that's simply not true. Nice positivity though! Explain. I'd love to hear your slant. I don't want to put words in anyones mouth but I think she means he could have worse games.
  10. No. I've watched the Bombers suck for years. I want them to wail on Ottawa from whistle to whistle. I don't need the thrill of a good game. Just win.
  11. How about Aberlour? I've been through a few of those - very smooth. I'm a fan of Aberlour, not a fan if it's recent price hike though. My favourite scotch right now is Bowmore 12. It's got to be the best single malt for its price ($55.) I'm a huge fan of Islay scotches, love the smoke and it keeps you warm in the winter. In the summer a nice highland scotch is nice with its fruits tones. Glad there's some scotch drinkers on here, lookin forward to possibly trying some new suggested malts. I've got a small bottle of the bowmore and its a taste I'm still aquiring. Can you recomend any lighter Islays? I really like the Scappa when Iwas in scotland but they don't sell it at the LC here. I just picked up a bottle of the Macallam 12 (sherry not oak) and am very happy with it for only 60USD at Happy harry's
  12. Put that on the bulletin board
  13. Ahhhh...there's the Nate we know and love. Start with a conspiracy theory about secret training methods out East and then end with a bizarre trade proposal that no one on earth would ever consider. Beautiful. I would assume he's being facetious
  14. That scotch is seriously the tip of an iceberg that will change your life forever.
  15. How about Aberlour? I've been through a few of those - very smooth. I haven't tried it, but haven't met a Speyside whiskey I didn't like. Any paticular version you are a fan of? The cast strength bottle seems like a pretty good value at the MLCC.
  16. Cornish
  17. Funny story I was in mexico and the booze was just shitty swill. We went snorkeling one day and the snorkeling place had cc. Never been so happy to see cc in my life. All about the context.
  18. Right now I am working on a Glendronach 15 that spent its last 2 years in port casks. Its got a really nice finish. I also have a Macallum amber but to be honest haven't been to impressed with the new age Macallum's. Anyone into Islay malts? I wasn't before but they are growing on me.
  19. What's her number? I'd like to take her out for a nice seafood dinner and never call her again.
  20. I like a jack on the rocks. Or jack and coke. Or jack and ginger. Or a black jd Stratocaster.
  21. I drink rum if I'm on vacation somewhere warm. Otherwise it's way too sweet. I can't believe grown men drink captain and coke. It's like vanilla coke.
  22. It really should be neat. My trick when I started was to breath in before I took a sip and breath out after but I'm at the point where I am so used it I'll really savour it.
  23. That is a starter single malt. Its a little harsh but you can really taste that it tastes like pears and its nice to start of with something where you can really get the notes easily.
  24. What did he get?
