Lol, the Bombers broke the Cup!

I watched the 1984 game a few days ago. The Jones sack and Poplawski td are legendary plays. That's the first football game I can remember watching, so it will always be the best to me. At least until 8ish tonight...

Think how bad the losses would have been if you weren't wearing it...

I wouldn't trade growing up in a small town for anything. Small town life as a kid in the 80s-early 90s was the best. I'm still friends with most of the people I grew up with.

Yeah, I lived in two different towns when I was a kid; one had approx. 800 people and the other had approx. 300.

I played a bit of junior hockey, and everybody else on the team being superstitious made me superstitious. I started putting my equipment on the left side of my body first, and now I do it with shoes, clothes, etc. It actually bothers me to see somebody put their right shoe on first. It's weird b/c it brought me no luck in my hockey life, so I gained no perceived benefit from it, but I can't not do it now...

Absolutely. The first time I saw him throw I thought of Rivers. Not that I'm a professional qb, but I've thrown the ball like that for years now, and it's much easier on your shoulder and elbow.

Loved the guy as a kid, but his best before date was a long time ago. Now he's just an old guy incoherently yelling about why things aren't like they used to be. This is one of my favourite Cherry moments. Sticking up for the good Canadian boys...

Calgary beat them both times they played this year, and Sask beat us twice. Not sure I buy your matchup theory.

Protecting the ball is definitely the most important thing. We had way too many red zone turnovers in our previous games against them.
