  1. Currently? Pittsburgh.
  2. How much money is Nichols making?
  3. A. Kelly helped us win the First game vs Toronto with 2 TDs I don;t think another Bomber REC had 2 TDs in a game all last year, he also helped us win vs HAM with a critical catch on the winning drive and a very strong game so in our first 3 games he was important in 2 wins, he also has another very good game in another win ( don't remember the details ) A. Kelly also had more TDs than Denmark (4) Moore (0) and Byrant (0) combined with 6 I know that isn't many but it was tops on the team last year. And I am not saying he was great just saying he was better than you are giving him credit for...And I have no problem that he is gone because I realize his problem was a lack of speed and he was too light and got pushed around... Adams is a much better Receiver yes I agree with that but Kelly helped us last year and we miss having a big REC this year. J. Gordon is garbage ( at least so far ) and Veltung is a good returner and fillin but he is not a top REC... So again until you have someone better you shouldn't just cut someone because they dared to speak back to the coaches.... So Walters has failed to find a big target the Bombers said they wanted to find, however I am not sure I trust that Marcel B. would know a good rec vs bad based on his opinion of Brohm being a CFL QB... That was always the thing about Kelly though. He'd make a few big plays but the rest of the time he was invisible. He caught some big passes but the guy did a disappearing act too often. He might have had more touchdowns, but Moore and Denmark rarely go into their complete disappearances. It's not his lack of speed that kept Kelly out, it's his lack of ability to make a consistent impact on a game. A guy who pops up every few games for a big catch or two and then does nothing isn't helping you win games. He's helping you win the games were he makes a big catch or two.
  4. Absolutely you do, not disagreeing with that at all. And I am nitpicking at this point, I get that. I guess I'm just disappointed that the guy we've been developing was so bad, he got beat that quickly. Or that he wasn't replaced sooner, given the amount of injuries we've had. I'm happy that a guy we just signed is so good that he's already beat out a guy we've been developing for a few months. Great job Kyle!!
  5. I'm guessing it's as simple as Sam Longo being better. Is it bad to try to keep improving the roster after TC? It's bad that they seemingly can't find a player good enough to stay on the roster. Agreed. I can only assume no other team in the CFL has dropped a player from their practice roster this season.
  6. Not really. They were trying to add some experience. He wasn't as bad as most make him out to be. I wouldn't have signed him, but it wasn't a wtf moment to me.
  7. Regarding the op, the story about Mulumba & Edem is hearsay. so shouldn't be used to praise or condemn Walters. The early returns on the 2014 draft have been decent and it's way too early to judge 2015. Writing Richards off after an injury plagued half-season is nonsense. The Walker signing is the first moment of real worry for me about Walters. Recruiting on defense has been decent, but we haven't found much of anything on offense yet.
  8. Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton
  9. I thought Justin Cole looked decent against the Stamps. Worth another look for sure.
  10. Then you don't know what you're looking for. He's quietly become an elite SAM in this league, no question. He had a bad game at the start of the season. Everything else is irrelevant.
  11. This is pretty much exactly what I thought was happening. He looked like he'd panic and run directly into trouble.
  12. What do you base that opinion on?
  13. Littlejohn had to play b/c we had no linebackers left on the depth chart for that game. Simmons isn't playing right away b/c now he has Littlejohn in front on him.
  14. I feel that anything that promotes savings is a good thing because as a society we simply don't save enough. With the tax free aspect of earnings on them as well it should promote some investment which is good for the economy as a whole right? I don't think you can worry about possible lost revenue (god I hate that term) in the future. It's good for the people so to me it's a good thing. I tend to agree that it's a good idea as a whole. I 100% agree with Fraser that you should be keeping long term investments in them.
  15. It's certainly good news for investors. It remains to be seen how it will affect government revenue in the future though. There are good points on both sides and I don't know which is right.
  16. Hughes is out for the Stamps. That's good news.
  17. *drops mic*
  18. You don't think your union had any thing to do with getting you that share plan?
  19. Kristian Matte was a first round pick in 2010 and didn't start until this year for Montreal. Bad pick?? So, your point? We need to see what Goosen can do. What's Matte have to do with it. How don't you understand the point he's making?
  20. The Riders were also a serious contender who made it to the game. We aren't anywhere near that as a team. I'd argue with that "serious contender" statement. The Riders were 8-10 in 2012. The 2013 season was barely 3 weeks in when they officially announced the sellout. I'd argue your argument that they weren't serious contenders. They went on a massive FA spree that offseason and started the 2013 season 3-0 with two blowouts.
  21. It's something that boggles my mind too. My brother and his wife are pretty much the poster family for income splitting and they certainly aren't wealthy. Yes he makes a good salary, but his wife doesn't and with 3 kids they don't have anything close to wealth. The people against income splitting are the low earners who think they should as a household with 2 low earners pay less tax than a household with the same income but the majority of that income coming from one person. The left is very petty when it comes to people having more than them. They won't like being called greedy but they are greedy. They want more than they have and want people with more to have less. You're big into generalizations. I'm not a low income earner, nor am I really a "lefty", and I'm not a fan of income splitting. I disagree with the idea of taxing households as a group rather than individuals. I know there are already differences in taxes for married vs. single people, but I'm not really sold on that either. It's not the worst idea ever, as I understand the thinking behind it. I just don't agree, and I actually benefit from it. A story about people having more kids than they can afford won't persuade me. Seeing as how you like generalizations, the right likes keeping their women at home and want a tax break to pay for it.
  22. So you agree it helps the wealthy?
  23. I REALLY hope Goossen plays well...and stays healthy. Sweet baby Jesus could things get ugly if any OL get hurt on Saturday.
