  1. I'd like to know what they're paying MacDougall.
  2. Derick Armstrong type, will likely play the boundary WR, allow Denmark, Moore and Kohlert to play slot most of the time. Those guys took turns at the boundary last year but we didn't have a true fit for that spot, Denmark played it best. Isn't he aporox 40 pounds lighter than Armstrong? I've read more people comparing him to Edwards.
  3. We might have been better off staying with January if he's who we end up with.
  4. He's a better, American version of Corey Watson. My life won't change based on whether we do or don't sign him, but he wouldn't be a terrible add. He has a more unique skill set than Ernest Jackson does. That's a type of receiver that we should be able to scout.
  5. He's tall like Pronger and plays D. That's where the comparisons should stop.
  6. I don't understand the comparison.
  7. LMAO at one of the comments. Kane, Scheifele and Morrissey for Kessel Add our 1st rounder to that and it might get done...
  8. Sounds like he's NFL bound now.
  9. I left after getting a pm from Bluto telling me about this site. I haven't posted there since. Frankly, this "Shankman" character sounds made up...
  10. Interesting from the Tait article that Goodrich was listed as one of our ni receivers.
  11. They've got a rotational rb ranked first, with a 28 yr old two time league all-star at LT ranked 6th. There may be some flaws in that list...
  12. This guy has all the talent in the world but has been a pain for years now. Some guys like Kane just don't grow up until it's too late. Look at how Sidney Crosby has handled his career, spotlight & pressure since he came to the NHL compared to Evander. Like night & day. We all watched Crosby act like a whiny , petulant brat when he didnt get the calls he wanted. He was never a bad teammate, nor has he ever quit on his team. He's handled media, much more of it that Kane has ever had to deal with, like a pro going back to his mid teens. Almost every prodigy that's come into the league has been called whiny on the ice. I'm sure McDavid will get that label too. That's not a comparable issue to what Kane is.
  13. You'll be in for a huge letdown if you're expecting that calibre of player back for Kane.
  14. According to whom? According to me... I'm wrong about that. I thought that was a rule, but I looked it up after and it turns out I just made it up.
  15. Can't trade an injured player.
  16. I think I'm going to become a Colts fan. I already somewhat cheered for them, but all of their former CFLers might lure me to them.
  17. Kunitz is just about finished as a top line player. Plays a hard style that won't treat him well as an old-timer.
  18. Bad teammates can kill a team. He's gotta go. Instead of throwing the track suit in the shower, Buff should have just laid the boots to him. Or both...
  19. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/kane-skipped-game-after-incident-with-teammates/
  20. I thought they stopped playing that years ago. He's been a known pedophile for years.
  21. Yowza. Here we go. This is more than just the track suit thing obviously. Question is, will Kane announce he is able to play or shut himself down and ruining a trade? I think he might do that if it's to a team he doesn't want to go to. The Evander Kane style no trade clause...
  22. Dredger & Lebrun both tweeting that the Jets are fielding trade requests for Kane.
  23. Are you suggesting the Chipmans havent spent their own money in this town? People get wrapped up in the nonsense media spinning. This is what I meant by the unfortunate anti-Chipman sentiment growing. I'm pretty sure you've misinterpreted what he said. I think he means Chipman is one of the only guys in this city who is willing to spend his own money to get things done.
  24. He's named Jarriel King from the Argos as a potential target of ours more than once and he re-signed a month ago. Your second option is a definite possibility.
  25. Pouliot is very highly thought of in Pittsburgh. 21 years old and a 9th overall pick. He's a centre piece of any big trade, not just a throw-in prospect.
