Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 6m6 minutes ago Tomorrow is walkthrough, and the #Bombers starting O-line appears to have two new guys: LT Jace Daniels & RG Matthias Goossen. January MIA.
-
January has been horrific this year and has zero trade value at this point in time. I've read/heard that he's been injured for most of the season though. He's been pretty good the last few seasons, so I believe there must be something up for him to be so bad this year.

Why would it be up to O'Shea to tell the media about the RCMP/closed practice issue? Isn't that Darren Cameron's job?

Shitting on your teammates is a quick way to lose your job. Good riddance.

Crombeen drops his mitts and punches Slater 4 times in the head, only to get 2 minutes for roughing. That's crazy...

Cutting the GST rate by 5% was their way to justify future spending cuts. Most people wouldn't support spending cuts on government programs if the books were balanced. As a result, they dropped the GST. When gov't revenues became too low to support their obligations, they had their reason to begin slashing spending.

Jan Hooks died today.

Lots of chirping over there with the Cats fan. Have you forgotten your last playoff meeting with us? That seems relevant to this topic.

I'm voting for Bowman. I like his idea to replace property taxes. Now if Selinger would take over the school taxes we'd be set. Steeves is the worst kind of politician. He'll say anything to get elected.

New Poll out today showing Federal Liberals slipping. Thats bad news for them as there is really no reason their big lead should be evaporating so quickly. But everytime Trudeau opens his mouth, more people realise he's all hat, no cattle. They've horribly mangled their message on Iraq & ISIS. I'm sure that's what's causing the slip.

Lawless: Bombers need to sign Ben Heenan

I don't think that's true unless we're paying him an obscene amount of money. We won't get much value for him, but I have to believe he'd be worth a mid-round pick. I agree January has no trade value though. He makes a lot of money and hasn't been very good this season. I'm not sure how many teams he'd be an upgrade for. -
That's what lazy comedians do. The good ones can be funny in a variety of different ways. I think in Farleys case he really did get typecast way too much. The man had his problems in life but he was a hell of a talent Was he? What roles did he play other than the funny fat guy doing pratfalls? I thought he was hillarious, but there wasn't a lot of depth to anything he did.
-
Agreed. This reasoning also applies to him grabbing good to great qbs from teams who scouted those guys but watched them become all-stars on another team.
-
So much venom stemming from one fairly innocuous comment. But at least it was an easy way to get a measure of a man. Your big vocabulary and multi-quote skills have put us all on edge.
-
So he made two very good trades to get qbs that took their respective team's to the Grey Cup. He then built a very good team around a qb he inherited and won a Grey Cup. This all must be very embarassing for him.

GC halftime act announced: Imagine Dragons

They put on a pretty good show at the Grammys. Although I suppose Kendrick Lamar was a pretty big part of it... -
If you hadn't started with "listen" I would have completed disregarded this post.

I thought Weekend Update was very funny. The new guy talking about sucking **** for money was solid. Thought the He-Man & Lion-O skit was funny too.

So has Paris Cotton fallen off the map? I like McGuffie just b/c he has a highlight video with Marky Mark music behind it.

While I'd like to see Sears on the field as much as possible. If bruce is healthy he should play. He's been arguably our best DB this year. He most certainly has not. Randle has been the best and I don't think that's really up for debate. Johnson has been good no question about that, but has he been better than Washington? Not sure I can go that far. Was he any better than Sears was? Don't think I can say that either, has he been better than Leggett? Dunno about that either. Really what we have is a secondary that have all been doing quite a good job. Sears I wouldn't replace though, too much of a playmaker, gotta make room on the roster for guys like that. You know what "arguably" means right? I never claimed he was "the best". and Dave's saying that you can't even really make the "argument", for "reasons" that were "accurate".....Chris "Randle" has been our "best" DB all year by a "mile" and likely "the" best in the "league..... Other than his opinion, what reasons did he give to support Randle being our best db? He said it wasn't up for debate, then didn't debate it...
