I don't watch the TSN pregame show, so I can't see myself having much interest in the post game show. I'd rather listen to our radio shows that will focus exclusively on the Bombers. I'll take Sportscentre over a postgame show, even if that means I won't have the fascinating life ISO leads b/c of it.

We give our level of scrutiny way too much credit. Ovechkin buried 51 this season and look at the abuse he takes. The disappointment for me is that Kane seems to have regressed in the past two seasons. It's great that he's still young, but it's a little bit troubling that his progression seems to have stopped. It's not a lock we're getting 30 from him every season.

Regarding the Winnipeg media and the issue of playing/living in a fishbowl, consider the big city of Philly & their media. Lindros never had a great relationship with them. They battled with Richards, Carter, & Lupul until all three were sent packing. Now they're going after Giroux b/c of his incident in Ottawa. Kane might want to be careful what he wishes for "if" he's pushing for a move to Philly.

No kidding. Any excuse to **** on the poor guy. Kane not touching himself over the mention of Winnipeg has been the lead story on TSN1290 two days in a row.

Doug Brown was a magnificent football player. I have found that I agree with about half of what he says since becoming a journalist. In other words, I disagree with about half of what he says. And he's not always right. This would make the CFL the first league I've ever heard of where a suspended player gets paid. I didn't say Doug Brown said players get paid when suspended for discipline - I was guessing at that based on his comment. But when he says a fine is more effective at making the point then I think he knows better than we do on that matter. So basically you don't know but are going to argue about it anyways?

My guess is that a 3 import OL means Leggett would lose his job to a Canadian. This would only work if Alexander is back healthy.

What did he do now? I missed it. I remember last year here in Edmonton he had a real hissy fit - cost his team about 60 yards (in penalties) over something really selfish. He was even arguing with his coaches on the sidelines. We were all laughing at him and cheering him on as the flags kept mounting. He'll fit right in in Toronto lol. He was fighting with teammates on the sideline again. He also played like crap...

Not surprising. He has a lot of baggage in Regina, & the way he acted during the game last week was ridiculous.

I'm not a doctor (I just play one on tv...), but I'm 99.9% sure they wouldn't have given him demerol. He would have been having a nap on the bench if they pumped him full of that drug.

If Greaves is out, my guess is Goossen & centre with Morley & Neufeld at guard.

Sure, they can play a top six role for us if we decide to run a McDavid campaign. Why don't you think Vrbata is a good player? He's put up decent numbers the past three seasons while playing with guys who aren't known for their offensive accumen.

Orpik, Bolland, & Engelland are the worst contracts of the day. Niskanen's contract could also be ugly if he can't play the rest of his career like he did last season. He's only had one really good season. Pouliot's smells a little too. I thought Pittsburgh had a very good day. Upgraded their bottom six, got a good backup goalie, & a very good dman on a bargain contract. All things they really needed.

He did nothing to breach his contract so why would should Banks be forced to give his signing bonus back? The original reports that he went home on his own would have been a breach of his contract. That's why I thought that. Apparently that's not what happened though.

What a way to possibly end his career. If he never comes back, I hope there's someway to get that signing bonus back.
