Montreal's NI receivers are terrible.
-
I've convinced myself that he will. I think he'll have the ability to earn more outside sources of income here than he would anywhere else, and I can't imagine any other team will outbid us for him. Plus he's been here for three years and would be playing with his brother again.

It's double digits lower than both Price & Luongo. What was the Alex Auld saga?

Drew Edwards @scratchingpost 4m #Ticats coach Kent Austin says there have been no talks with pending free agent QB Henry Burris.

Jones is a good goalie. You don't put up those kind of numbers if you're not. My point was that Quick isn't that great and lots of goalies could do as well or better if put in his situation. In fact, both Jones & Scrivens did put up better numbers.
-
He's been on fire lately. He has a .949 S% in the last month and has stolen six wins for them in that time. The Sabres are a middle of the road AHL team without him. Who is Mr. Meltdown? It can't be any of the guys on the Olympic team if Holtby has been better than him this season.
-
You have evidently forgotten Ryan Miller carrying his team to a silver medal in 2010. He'd definitely be my choice in net for the Americans. What both Scrivens & Jones did in Quick's absence this season in pretty telling for how much it's LA's team D that contributes to goaltender success there. I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but no, Holtby should not be on Team Canada.

I would. Limit the damage on a bad/stupid call. That would be where the challenge idea comes into play. Like others have said, we'd regularly see receivers being tackled on deep passes if the penalty was only 15 yards.

Dan Ralph is saying the Stamps have signed Adrian MacPherson.

How about Vega & Turner?

Start worrying... http://www.freep.com/article/20140103/NEWS06/301030076/H1N1-flu-university-of-michigan-deaths-hsoitalizations-vaccine Three adults have died, according to a health system spokeswoman. An infant from central Michigan also has died from H1N1, according to the Michigan Department of Community Health. “These deaths are among previously healthy individuals. This is not the group that the public usually thinks about as being susceptible to serious illness with influenza,” said Dr. Matt Davis, chief medical executive for the state health department and a U-M professor of pediatrics and communicable diseases and of internal medicine.

Stubler New Stamps Defensive Coordinator
sweep the leg replied to iso_55's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Hey you're putting in the effort to defend an indefensible position, you can try and back track and say it's not bitterness over the guy thumbing his nose at the Bombers but it's not flying with anyone cause we all know your reactions better than that.Welp since this has clearly reached the "i know you are but what am i" stage of bomber forum "discussions" im just gonna leave it as is.. Happy New Years guys and heres to Marcels offenses shredding calgarys defense in 2014 Yes, the Shotgun Draw will leave that Stamps D stymied for days. You DID watch the grey cup, right? Cuz it pretty much did. I'm confused. Neither Stubler, not the Stampeders, were in the Grey Cup. I think he's referring to the Western semi, when the shotgun draw did defeat Stubler's D. -
Brendan Taman said exactly that on H & L. I don't know when exactly, but it was either just before or just after the Grey Cup.

It's horribly bitter. My Grandpa was on a Lancaster in WWII so I felt compelled to try one. It was a mistake...

Rate the Bombers Offensive Line
sweep the leg replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
IMO January is a very good LT. I'd only take Fulton, Bryant, & Bourke ahead of him, and Burke is mostly b/c he's NI. Boatmen & Douglas need to go. Jones is already much better than both of them and he was only here for around a month. I think Jones has the potential to be a very good tackle. Unless one of our young NI's really stand out, I wouldn't mind him starting at RT next season. -
Miles for DC & Marshall for DL coach.

What were you hoping for in a waiver draft you probably didn't know existed before today?

Kyle Walters Expansion Draft Presser
sweep the leg replied to Jpan85's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I liked the question, "Have you ever been part of a situation like this before?" It wouldn't have taken much research to discover there hasn't been an expansion draft since Walters became involved in player personnel. -
Waaaaaah. Witty banter like this is what makes this site so enjoyable.

Tell Chapdelaine they were just fooling around and of course they want him back as their OC.

Winnipeg To Host 2016 Heritage Classic
sweep the leg replied to BlueBall's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Being +5 wouldn't cause many problems. It's not like they'll be relying on natural ice out there. -
Yesterday's man? I don't think so. Not even close. Fourth job in five years. Has to be said. So what? He was promoted out of the DC job in Toronto, and left the Esks by his own decision. It's not like he's getting fired each time for fielding incompetent defenses.

i'd agree with that... ...if the CFL had a salary cap. however, it does not. Exactly. I hate that they can spend more than us & it helps them win, but there's nothing wrong with going over the luxury tax threshold if you can afford it. I'd prefer the CFL to have a hard cap than the current system. The only league with a hard cap is the NCAA. Unless the penalty is forfeiting games, it's not a "hard cap" IMO. So what do the NHL & NFL have? As I understand it, the NHL disallows any contract that would put a team over the cap, so there's no need for a penalty.

Collaros to wait for free agency?

I'd cheer for a cloned Hitler if he could win us a Grey Cup. -
