  1. Walters gives his analysis of each pick: https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/blue-bombers-draft-analysis-a-pick-by-pick-look-at-the-players-winnipeg-selected?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  2. If Lyles is still around late, could we convert him into a sb?
  3. Ferguson had him at 24. I don't think anybody expected him to go this high. Plus this isn't a guess from Dunk, they know he's in Toronto right now.
  4. Justin Dunk‏Verified account @JDunk12 now5 seconds ago #Argos picking first overall and have Canadian OL Shane Richards in #Toronto https://3downnation.com/2019/05/02/argos-picking-first-overall-and-have-canadian-ol-shane-richards-in-toronto/ … #ArgosFootball #DoubleBlue #TheSix #CFL #CFLDraft
  5. NMC doesn't mean he won't accept a trade. We asked Enstrom to waive his, so it's not like the organization has an unbreakable rule against asking. I don't believe he's untradeable. Imo, worst case scenario is we have to add a draft pick with Little for a lower draft pick type of trade. But I think we could get a pick for him. It's not like he's terrible.
  6. Wonder if we're considering Kongbo at #5.
  7. I'd rather we keep Hayes than trade for somebody else.
  8. Florida was kinda who I was thinking might fit. It sounds like they'll be going for it next year, and they seem like they should be only a few pieces away. Matheson is who I think would be a good return, plus whatever other pieces it takes on either side to finish the deal. Young guy on a long term deal at a reasonable price.
  9. Lol, yes, I'm sure Pittsburgh would be willing to let him go...
  10. Maatta was a healthy scratch in the playoffs. Very slow. He had such a good rookie season, but has gotten progressively worse each successive season.
  11. A coach's hockey IQ when they were a player is definitely relevant. It's why Gretzky is also considered the greatest coach ever.
  12. The Jets won the following two games. They must have had some answers.
  13. He won the modp in 2017. No idea how he'll come back from last year's injury, though.
  14. I would love this for the Jets, but I can't imagine Carolina would be interested in that deal. Pesce is a good, young dman who's locked in at $4M for the next five years, Necas is their top prospect. Maybe if little was a few years younger and Trouba had a few years left on his contract.
  15. A They're willing to honour our contracts because having a stable "feeder" league is in their best interest. But don't doubt for a second that if they ever decided that they really don't need the CFL, our contracts wouldn't be worth the paper they are printed on. Aren't you disagreeing with yourself?
  16. I love the storyline of the Islanders being so good after everybody wrote them off this summer. They have people in their organization that I don't like (Sweet Lou & Lehner), but it would be fun to see them stick it to Tavares and the Leafs. I'm indifferent to the Canes. Not enough history of them being relevant for me to care much one way or the other.
  17. Colorado and the Islanders for me. I'm a big MacKinnon fan. I could live with St. Louis winning too. Re MacKinnon, is there a bigger steal in the league than him at $6.3M for the next four years?
  18. The Leafs don't have three this season. Regardless, the point it seems he's trying to make is that top heavy teams are all failing, which imo is just a coincidence. The Penguins won two of the last three Cups with arguably the most top heavy roster in the league.
  19. It's weird that other teams won't take our players and give us better players in return.
  20. Lowry's line was very good all game. They seemed to be the only line getting offensive zone time in the first period.
  21. It should definitely be discussed. He's taken four minors in his limited playing time. That's brutal.
  22. Their transition from defense to offense on that play was a thing of beauty. Every Jet on the ice did something right to make that happen. Great goal.
  23. Has Vince McMahon ever had success outside of the WWE? XFL & that body building federation in the 80/90s are the first things that come to mind when I think of him trying to branch out from wrestling, and both were huge busts.
  24. Most of last night's game looked like what St. Louis did to us in the 3rd period of game 1. That was about as dominant as it gets for a playoff game.
