A They're willing to honour our contracts because having a stable "feeder" league is in their best interest. But don't doubt for a second that if they ever decided that they really don't need the CFL, our contracts wouldn't be worth the paper they are printed on. Aren't you disagreeing with yourself?

I love the storyline of the Islanders being so good after everybody wrote them off this summer. They have people in their organization that I don't like (Sweet Lou & Lehner), but it would be fun to see them stick it to Tavares and the Leafs. I'm indifferent to the Canes. Not enough history of them being relevant for me to care much one way or the other.

Colorado and the Islanders for me. I'm a big MacKinnon fan. I could live with St. Louis winning too. Re MacKinnon, is there a bigger steal in the league than him at $6.3M for the next four years?

The Leafs don't have three this season. Regardless, the point it seems he's trying to make is that top heavy teams are all failing, which imo is just a coincidence. The Penguins won two of the last three Cups with arguably the most top heavy roster in the league.

Jets v Blues playoff who wins and why.

It's weird that other teams won't take our players and give us better players in return. -

Lowry's line was very good all game. They seemed to be the only line getting offensive zone time in the first period. -

It should definitely be discussed. He's taken four minors in his limited playing time. That's brutal. -

Their transition from defense to offense on that play was a thing of beauty. Every Jet on the ice did something right to make that happen. Great goal. -
Vince McMahon considers move to bring back the XFL
sweep the leg replied to wbbfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Has Vince McMahon ever had success outside of the WWE? XFL & that body building federation in the 80/90s are the first things that come to mind when I think of him trying to branch out from wrestling, and both were huge busts. -

Most of last night's game looked like what St. Louis did to us in the 3rd period of game 1. That was about as dominant as it gets for a playoff game. -

Schenn really looked like a ***** in that scrum with Buff. Punching a guy in the back of the head, while he's being held, and then backing off when he gets loose should be pretty embarrassing for him. -

St.Louis's effort level is incredible. They're winning most of the puck battles, and both their forechecking and backchecking is giving us no time to make a play. -

They had 32 shots, three more than us. Three of four goals were wrists shots from no closer than the faceoff dot. Only one of them had even a hint of a screen. Those are shots an NHL goalie needs to stop. -

I agree with what Maurice did. Lindholm has really impressed me, and I don't think sitting a healthy Tanev is even a consideration. -
Westwood was advocating paying him up to $9m. That seems excessive...

Who do you think should be? Lindholm seems like the only other option, but he's been good in every game he's played for us. Helps our pk too. -
Yeah, it would have been a dereliction of their duty to have not surveiled that campaign.

It's ridiculous that this is being brought up, but I hope he's asked about it every day until the end of this series. -

Jets in six. When they're on their game, they can beat anybody. Nothing like playoff intensity to refocus a team. -
Lol, that's a good plan. It's easy to learn to hate a team when your team plays them seven games in a row. Two years ago I never would have thought I'd care about the Predators.

50 Riders - seems obvious 20 - Flyers. I was a Pens fan until the Jets came back, so the hate was easy to build. Their fans are terrible for a different reason that Rider fans, but still terrible. Simmonds, Giroux, Hartnell etc. all make me angry just discussing them. 10 - Preds - PK Subban is the worst. They've also had Hartnell, and now Simmonds, so that makes them easier to hate. Oh, they're also the Jets' biggest rival. 5 - Capitals - Couldn't stand Ovie at the height of the Crosby-Ovechkin battles. Gained a lot of respect for him at the World Championships when most of the Russians left the ice for our anthem, but he and Malkin tried to make them stay. They still have Tom Wilson though, and they're still a Pens rival. 5 - Leafs. - TSN and Sportsnet force feeding us the Leafs all season makes it almost impossible not to hate them. 10 - split evenly among Ducks, Wild, Stamps, Lions, Bears, Packers, Patriots, & GS Warriors I don't care enough about baseball or soccer to hate any teams. I don't really care about basketball either, but GSW are so cocky that I've found it in me to hate them anyways.
