I think the Pens will be looking for a 3rd line centre. They've got Guentzel there right now, and his offense has completely disappeared. Get themselves a centre, and they'll have the added benefit of Guentzel back in the top 6 as a winger.

Calgary's been the best team in the league since forever, and they lose good players in FA every year. The key to their success is being able to replace good players, not necessarily bringing all the same players back every season.

He was kind of in a no-win situation there. Imo, the guy behind him would have beaten him either way, so he tried to be aggressive and keep the puck in the zone.

Collaros has a huge contract and was terrible last season, so I don't think it's that surprising.

Interesting trade. What are the chances of Collaros redoing his contract with them? Seems like a worthwhile gamble to take for the Riders.
