  1. Five rookies starting, three due to injury, may have something to do with that.
  2. That's what I thought.
  3. What happened to him? I don't remember hearing about him at all this week.
  4. Jones handled it in a very Chris Jones kind of way, but it's looking like he made the right decision to go with Glenn instead of Durant. Glenn is making approx. half what Durant is and has been better than him so far.
  5. Stegall and Flutie would have been unfair.
  6. That's kind of my point though. Pitts' last season was "only" 1k yards and he clearly wasn't the player he used to be. Give him a couple extra years at the age Simon finished his career, and consider the downward trajectory he was on, and I'm not sure he finishes much higher in total yards than Simon did.
  7. I disagree. The totals he put up in his prime (2003-2011) were exceptional. He was an afterthought for two seasons early in his career behind the established vets in Winnipeg and played 28 games when he was older than Pitts when he retired, so the longevity wasn't a huge boost to his stats.
  8. Simon belongs on the other list.
  9. Well, I've just learned something new. I can't remember ever seeing that challenged before.
  10. Can that be challenged? I don't think it can.
  11. Do the esteemed journalists from Xanthippa's Chamberpot or Infowars have any thoughts on corruption at the UN?
  12. Bob Irving‏ @BobIrvingCJOB 2m2 minutes ago TJ thorpe practicing with first team Bomber receiving corps ahead of L'Damian Washington. Expect Thorpe to start in Vancouver.
  13. I was hoping Bauming would get the job. I'm not a big Ralph fan.
  14. Agreed on all points. Westwood's kind of a **** to him. I'd like to know how they get along off the air.
  15. Such an odd post. I don't think anybody argued your name is on the document.
  16. Do you have an link for what you just posted? Curious to see where it came from. Check out the "Paris Principles", and "Convention on the Rights of the Child". They're a couple decades more current than what you posted regarding the Geneva Convention.
  17. "Child soldiers are children (individuals under the age of 18) who are used for any military purpose. " https://www.child-soldiers.org/who-are-child-soldiers
  18. Lol. This is the worst attempt at being the bigger person that I've ever seen.
  19. Interesting (kind of) stat; of the seven sacks we've given up, only one has been by a de.
  20. How does putting a rookie at sam and playing Leggett out of position make us better?
  21. $134M? How do American courts come up with these numbers?
  22. The government didn't handle this very well, but the guy was going to get paid no matter what. They should have publicly explained why they felt compelled to pay what they did. Giving an honest explanation would have been much smarter than hiding it and allowing the narrative of "secret payments to terrorists" to take over. I think they made the right decision to pay him, as I agree with others that fighting this out until the end only would have resulted in much higher costs. Somebody may have touched on this earlier, but why is the widow of the American soldier able to sue for his death?
  23. So weird that a thread about a political issue has turned into a battle for the last word. The "silly and/or shameful" count is growing rapidly!
  24. I worry about this too, especially against a pass happy team like the argos. I wonder if another db on the field instead of Knox would be a better option?
  25. Constructive criticism: quoting a really long post causes a lot of unnecessary scrolling.
