  1. I noticed that too. Two plays in particular where it was brutally obvious.
  2. We'll have to agree to disagree on that point. The promoters for his early fights were picking tomato cans for him so he wouldn't get embarrassed. They were also offering low base pay and large knockout bonuses to entice fighters to not just take him down and tap him out.
  3. I would. 2013 was the only season in my life where I had resigned myself to watching garbage before the season had even started. I still remember how dead inside I felt when we decided to go into camp with Pierce and a group of rookies.
  4. It's not really like that at all. I don't think anybody that followed the sport thought Kimbo would be successful in mma. McGregor is a world class athlete and arguably the best striker in mma. He's not in Mayweather's class from a technical boxing standpoint, but it's not like he starting from scratch either. Mayweather doesn't have the power to knock him out in one round.
  5. The Bombers have had a winning record in 5 of the 17 seasons I've had season tickets. My lowest moments were the thrashing we took at Banjo Bowl 2009 and the Jason Boltus game in 2013. I was literally the only person left sitting in my section at the end of that game.
  6. But then he went out in his second game and totally redeemed himself!
  7. Maybe not out cold, but I could see a tko. I can see McGregor gassing and Mayweather overwhelming him. I agree that fighting at 154 is an advantage for McGregor. That's basically Mayweather's normal weight. Being bigger, taller, and a lefty all work in McGregor's favour.
  8. I'd love for you to be right, but I really don't think so.
  9. I assume you think Diaz is better? He got his ass kicked in the first 1.5 rounds of both matches. He was competitive because he has a great chin and great cardio.
  10. Lol at all the posts in this thread. I never thought it would happen either though. McGregor's significantly bigger, so his best chance is to bully him, keep him on the ropes or in the corner and pound on him. That and hope Mayweather's age has caught up to him and he'll be slow enough to hit now.
  11. 58% comp %, 7 tds, 15 ints, and 69.3 qb rating. We have different opinions on what "very productive" means.
  12. Lol. Take a nap, you're being fussy.
  13. He's definitely not terrible. I was higher on him before the playoffs. He looked slow. He also missed a few games though, so he was probably playing through something. I agree somebody is going to give him too much money.
  14. I think you're using it wrong. Carnal Knowledge Copulation; the act of a man having sexual relations with a woman. Penetration is an essential element of sexual intercourse, and there is carnal knowledge if even the slightest penetration of the female by the male organ takes place. It is not required that the hymen be ruptured or the ****** entered
  15. I don't think anybody assumed that...
  16. A break (no pun intended) for us when we play them early in the season. Sucks for him though. Very good player. Calgary Stampeders‏Verified account @calstampeders 1m1 minute ago Dave Dickenson: Cordarro Law has a break in his leg and will be out for a while
  17. Look at how heated it gets here arguing about players and our jobs don't depend on us being right.
  18. I don't think Frederick and Fogg ever played the same position. Heath took Fogg's old spot.
  19. Not really. It's very possible that field corner is the only position in the secondary that will have a new starter this season.
  20. I'm not that surprised about Frederick. He started strong last year, but wasn't very good after his first few games. Goodman has to be the least surprising cut. How stupid do you have to be to get kicked out of a preseason game when you're trying to make a team?
  21. Giving it to two guys who played the entire playoffs is different that giving it to two guys who shared a job. I agree that you need to earn it individually, not as a duo.
  22. Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel would have been my order of vote. The goalies combined would have won, but like you said, can't give it to either with only half a playoff. Crosby is in the top 10 all time imo.
  23. In the regular season I would agree, but I'm not sure we're showing off our blitzes in the first preaseason game.
  24. Ideally Nichols will look dominant marching us down the field for a td on our first drive, and then take a seat.
