  1. Anderson was the biggest reason we got a point. Neither goalie was very good.
  2. Both of these guys seem like legit prospects.
  3. That's an interesting read. TUP has over 13k posts and wasn't even here at the beginning! That's a lot of arguing about wrestling and politics...
  4. I'd vote for Iso. That grumpy old fella was always entertaining. Where'd he go? Mike chase him out of here?
  5. He's got a real chance to start in Sask. and make incentive money. It's pretty hard to offer that here when the guy in front of him is making $400k and locked in as our starter.
  6. Lefevour is apparently a Bomber now.
  7. No idea. I won't pretend I paid much attention to him, but he lost his starting position last season, and now his job, so the coaches must think he was the problem.
  8. I saw the post. I don't see where he says it's ok.
  9. He's not even that old, but he did seem to really fall off last season.
  10. Receiver contracts are getting out of control! Anybody know what we paid Adams?
  11. Reasonable response. Your suggestion of 100 games seems excessive. I agree with him getting 10 games. Agree to disagree.
  12. I don't think anybody has argued otherwise. That's why he deserves his 10 game suspension.
  13. This may be an overreaction... Of course it matters what he did. If he dropped his gloves and kicked the **** out of him, I would agree he should get a massive suspension. He gave him a smack on the calves with his stick. It's 10 games for disrespect rather than an "attack" on a referee.
  14. You guys are crazy. 10 games are sufficient for Vermette. It was a really stupid thing to do, but it wasn't like he was trying to break his leg.
  15. The Argos are going to end up giving him $200k b/c nobody else will go there.
  16. I don't understand this one at all.
  17. Putting approx. $300k into two running backs doesn't seem like great cap management.
  18. Where'd you see that?
  19. They signed a bunch of talented players in fa last year too and it blew up in their faces, so I'm taking the wait and see approach with them. Dennis should really help them, but Lafrance & their new safety both get mehs from me.
  20. I find it funny that "all-star" is such a big deal for him. He was a divisional all-star. Who did he have to beat out in the East? Stephen missed a big chunk of the season in Hamilton and Ottawa switched safeties half way through the season. He got the award b/c he managed to play an entire season.
  21. GSP has apparently reached an agreement for a new deal with the UFC and it should be finalized soon. I'm a big GSP fan, but I'm not sure how I feel about him coming back. I liked the idea of him going out on top, but I suppose it's not up to me.
  22. It doesn't say he took less than the Bombers offered. Other teams also made him offers. Regardless, he's from California and will have a real chance to start out there.
  23. Meh. When Benn, Spezza, Seguin were on the ice they were all over us, but otherwise I didn't see it like that. They're sure top heavy when they put those guys together. Not a lot of other talent on the team.
  24. I was at the game and haven't seen any replays yet. Was the first goal on Helle pretty soft? It looked bad live. I thought Buff looked bad last night. He got beat wide a lot. Morrissey & Trouba are clearly our top pairing now. I thought Trouba had a very good game.
  25. John Hodge of 3downnation says the extension of Chungh is the only thing that kept FA from being a "disaster" for the Bombers. That seems strong...
