  1. Get rid of reviews for illegal contact and put a time limit of 90 seconds on the rest of them.
  2. Step back off the ledge. I don't agree with what he said either, but this is ridiculous.
  3. Connor should be on the farm imo.
  4. I disagree. I think he outplayed Pavelec last season and was given the job this year as a result.
  5. Drone attacks aren't indiscriminate if they're targeted.
  6. Yeah, three years is my threshold for giving rookies a chance before declaring them a bust (with the obvious exceptions of getting cut, dying, etc). I would have liked to see him play at least a small role in the offense this year though, so he's definitely behind where I hoped he would.
  7. Why would the Riders want Carter? The one position they're actually good at is receiver.
  8. He was the GM when they traded for Ray. He knows how to find a qb, he just doesn't know how to hold on to a qb, which is the really the most important part of developing a qb.
  9. I don't think the leaders/populations of the Baltic countries and Poland feel as safe as you do. The annexation of Crimea had to be pretty worrisome for countries with large Russian minorities.
  10. There are several guys GSP's size, or bigger, at LW. Tony Ferguson has said he gets up around 200 pounds between fights. GSP has never been considered overly big for WW. I can't see any reason, other than not wanting to, that he couldn't fight at 155.
  11. McGregor embarrassed Alvarez. It wasn't close. I picked him to win, but didn't think it would be that easy. My guess for McGregor's next fight is GSP. They both want money fights and GSP could fight at 155. It would be huge fight. Khabib deserves it, but McGregor was downplaying him for never fighting and White certainly didn't promise him anything. Khabib is the best grappler in mma, but Johnson proved you can get to his chin. I think he fights Ferguson next.
  12. It's like letting a monkey pilot a plane. You could give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how he does, but the most obvious outcome is clearly flaming wreckage.
  13. I don't think it's magic. It's possible they've always been stupid and just made good choices in 2008 & 2012. As for the story you shared, I wasn't calling everybody racist, just the racists. The non-racist Trump supporters were just able to overlook it.
  14. Every candidate since foreign manufacturing has became a thing have promised to bring jobs back. It's amazing to me people keep believing they can do it.
  15. No. "And then they locked up the racist vote" is pretty clearly referring to them separately.
  16. None of our guys got robbed. It's not like Elimimian is a joke. I would have picked Loffler for ROY, but Daniels was pretty friggen good. Otherwise I agree with the Western picks. Ernest Jackson's a good player, but could he be the least inspiring pick for MOP ever? The Eastern picks are pretty sad. Woods is the only one who has a prayer.
  17. "What I found was millions of great Americans who had been disenfranchised, normal people like you and I, who did not recover from the Great Recession. They’re pissed off about Obama Care, endless wars, trade deals that have killed jobs, higher taxes, a rigged economy–and, they are not wrong." No, they're mostly wrong. The wars started under a Republican's watch, Democrat's are generally more inclined to protectionism than Republican's are re: trade deals, insurance premiums grew at a slower pace under Obamacare than when Bush was in office, and lol at the rigged economy. The guy who's now in charge didn't pay taxes for years and is promising to lower taxes at the top of the scale, ie trickle down economics, which is a proven failure. As for jobs, Trump won't be able to take them back to the 50s when everything was made in America. That boat has sailed. The economy has changed and people who can't adapt are trying to turn back the clock. The economy is significantly stronger after eight years of a democrat in the White House than it was when Bush left. What the Republicans are very good at is getting everybody angry. Every speech was about how much America sucks, and only they can fix it. These guys who lost their jobs buy it and vote for a Republican, who in turn will break the unions and bring the wages down of the few manufacturing jobs that are left. And then they locked down the racist vote...
  18. Trump's front runner for Treasury Secretary is a long time Goldman Sachs employee. That will show the "establishment".
  19. Russian parliament gave Trump's win a rousing ovation this morning. I wonder if our NATO allies in the Baltic states are as happy about the results?
  20. Not even when he was sued by the government for refusing to rent to black people? That story was probably made up the the leftist, sycophantic loons in the media to make him look bad.
  21. David Clarke, the guy who is the reported front runner to be Homeland Security Secretary, thinks Black Lives Matter is working with ISIS to destroy America.
  22. This is such nonsense. Elitist has become a buzzword for Republicans to shame democrats with. His surrogates dismissed fact checkers as elitists. It's used as a slur against anybody smart enough to notice Trump is full of ****.
  23. Agreed. Neither Calgary nor Edmonton can be allowed to win this year.
  24. Trump already starting with the calls of a rigged election. Has filed a lawsuit in Nevada claiming (paraphrasing) that too many brown people were allowed to vote after Republicans took away as many polling stations as possible. He's also claiming that the "voting machines" are switching republican votes to the democrats.
  25. Jennings will throw a minimum of five interceptions in this game and we win by 20. Book it...
