It is, but it seems like an oversight on the PAs part from the last bargaining agreement that this is allowed to happen. -
Harris' play in the first half reminded me of Drew Willy this season. He was completing pretty much everything but the offense wasn't going anywhere.
-
Great if he's agreeable to it.

I thought Hardrick looked better at RT than Foketi did, but I suppose that doesn't mean it's true.
-
I think it's pretty much a guarantee he's sitting. Has O'Shea ever dressed a backup import OL?

Another brilliant FA signing by the dynamic duo of Murphy and Jones. I think almost all of their high profile FAs have been cut, traded, or relegated to backup status. And that's not even mentioning all of the great trades they've made... -

What point was I making? -
I really like Jay & Dan. The issue with that style of tv/radio is that if you're going for funny, you better be funny. Some of the guys who try to replicate that just don't have it, and it's brutal to watch/listen to.

He also had one go off his hands that ended up as a jump ball between Loffler and Fantuz. I still think we should keep him though... -
I enjoy listening to Westwood. If you listen to somebody every morning eventually they're going to say something that annoys you, but overall I think he's pretty good. I've never been a fan of Leibl though. I'd love to see Toth take his place.

Lol, what a ****. Jericho apparently once got the best of Goldberg in a backstage shoot, but I'm thinking he'd have some (a lot) of trouble with Lesnar.
-
I agree. It seems very dangerous to let a guy as big and strong as Lesnar try to cut somebody with their elbows.

I don't like Edmonds at all on pbp. I find him incredibly annoying. Imo he just sounds like he's trying too hard. I don't need the pbp guy screaming at me to get me into the game. I'd take Beyak any day over him.

I consider myself a hardcore Hip fan, and I agree the entire event was amazing. Love seeing the Canadian pride!

Imo a live show generally doesn't sound that good when you're not actually there. I was at the show in Winnipeg and thought he sounded great. I watched some clips of the same show on youtube later and his voice wasn't quite as good as I remembered it. Gord's the best though. Amazingly awkward stage movements seem to work for him.

Lol, I knew when I saw KBF in this thread there would be a political rant about Trudeau.

Week 9 Edm. @ Tor. - Sask. @ Hamilton

I wonder when their injured OL are all coming back? Their O looked decent before they all go hurt. If I had to guess, I'd say just in time for Labour Day. Their D will still be a dumpster fire though. -
I don't think anybody is suggesting CJ Roberts is better than either Adams or Randle.

We didn't win the turnover battle in the Edmonton game by four or five. We won the other two games with large turnovers discrepancies by blowout scores, suggesting we didn't need all of those turnovers to win. The last few were just piling on. Winning the turnover battle in each game is sustainable, though not by such a large margin. I don't think we have to win it by four or five to be successful. As to your second question, enough of them came from good plays by our defense that I think we can win the turnover battle on most nights, especially when our offense has been as careful with the ball as it has been lately.
-
Maybe I missed an earlier explanation, but why are turnovers being lumped in with bad teams and backup qbs? Would saying, "we only won b/c we scored a lot of touchdowns" make about as much sense?

I haven't paid any attention to Martin to know if he's been any good this season. I'm assuming we'll pass on him. -

Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 1m1 minute ago Vaughn Martin isn't at #Als' practice today. According to Justin Dunk, he'll be released. -
I'd love to see him try that on O'Shea. He'd just stare a hole through him... Our HC/GM/CEO combo has to be the toughest group in the league. Linebacker/safety/fullback.

It's just his thing...
