Argos just cut Burks. That's surprising to me.
-
That's crazy. Potentially lose a very good Canadian ol over $10k?

Mekale McKay seems like he'll play anywhere except Canada. -
Between Ottawa and Toronto, the team that loses out on Arbuckle will likely get Nichols.
-
That's why I said basically. The net effect of this signing is Nichols and the 1st are gone. We traded a 3rd rounder for that Grey Cup win. The 1st is to keep him for the next two seasons.
-
I meant brand new to us, not to the league.
-
We basically traded Nichols and a 1st for Collaros. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I liked the idea of getting a Grey Cup out of Collaros, thanking him for his contribution, and then moving on to somebody brand new. Hopefully he turns out like Sidney Crosby, who put his concussion issues behind him and resumed a great career. At his best, there's not much question he's better than Nichols. I hope we get that Collaros. I think playing behind a better OL will make him look better than he did in Regina.

Chisholm has 52 points in 42 games in the OHL this year.
-
Yeah, his playcalling was terrible last season.

Kulikov should have just signed his retirement papers and left the arena after the game winning goal. That was brutal.

I thought they played hard the last two nights. The D just isn't good enough. We're getting beat every might now b/c our goaltending has regressed and isn't bailing them out anymore.
-
Our current group of dmen is terrible. four of the six guys we dressed yesterday have no business being in an NHL lineup.

Toews and Keith got into a scrap at practice this morning. -
I'd leave Vesalainen in the minors. Let one of the veteran minor leaguers play <10 min/night or sit in the press box.

I want to see it again, but after McGregor has another fight or two. I think McGregor puts up a better effort if he stays busy leading up to that fight.
-
McGregor-GSP is way down the list of fights I want to see. If GSP doesn't get to fight Khabib, I'd rather see him just retire. Nobody else is that interesting for him, imo. Fights that are the most interesting to me: GSP vs Khabib Tony Ferguson vs Khabib McGregor vs Masvidal / Khabib / Ferguson / Gaethje / Diaz Jones vs Stipe

I'm very happy to see that our ol will be back together for next season.

One-sided beating by McGregor last night. I've never seen a shoulder strike be that effective before.

Only if Gallant brought a few NHL calibre dmen with him. -
The HOF seems to be for everything now. It's not just hip hop that doesn't seem to belong. Donna Summer is in there...

Yeah, Bridgewater was the Saints' backup.
