How much closer to St. Malo is Vancouver than New York?
-
Found the link from the political editor of Buzzfeed Canada. Ezra Levant has found a way to profit from terrorism. I really hope the missing part of this story is that the profits go to some charity. It would still be in poor taste, but less so than him just trying to make a buck. http://the-rebel-store.myshopify.com/collections/f-ck-isis

Bombers Pending Free-Agents List?
sweep the leg replied to M.O.A.B.'s topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
They traded his rights b/c they knew they'd be outbid once he hit FA, so it kind of is b/c he's awesome. -
Travis Hamonic has requested a trade, with the Jets at the top of the list. He apparently wants to be close to home and come to Western Canada, preferably Winnipeg.

I'd sign off on that deal as fast as possible before Hextall could sober up.

Bombers Pending Free-Agents List?
sweep the leg replied to M.O.A.B.'s topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The Hamilton list is crazy. A lot of really good players and they can't possibly sign them all. The Riders list is big too, but most of those players aren't very good. -
Agreed. It went downhill when he started giving regular spots to guys like Lyndon Byers & Michael Irvin. They were unbearable to listen to and seemed to be on all the time. I haven't watched regularly in a few years now. I liked the really old days of the show when it was all wrestlers and porn stars.

I assume it was nothing compared to how he felt after Harper put the fear of god into him.

Is "Shiny Pony" part of the respect for the office that was discussed prior to the election?

The short answer is because the French are no longer occupying their country. They smashed the French forces in Vietnam and chased out the Americans too. It's easier to move on when the battle is over and you've won. While they were there, there were countless suicide attacks and bombing in Saigon. I have no doubt the Viet Cong would have brought that to Paris if they had the capability to do so.

Edit

Rumour is Cortez is retiring, so Jones might just step into the BC job.

What happened in Paris vs. what happened on 9/11 is different, imo. What isis has done is an act of war. They are (basically) a State now, with defined territory, functioning economy, and a government. They've made their intentions clear and are attacking countries they've declared to be enemies. Al Qaeda didn't/doesn't meet any of the bench marks of a State. They are strictly a terrorist organization.

I've gotten into some stouts, but I just can't enjoy them most of the time. That Phillips sampler has good variety, but I keep just falling back to the IPAs anyways. I'm biased. Dave will try and sway you toward the ESBs....I'm a big fan of Red's. There's a new one from Village Brewery called "The Huntsman" that I really enjoy. Earthy....ton of flavour. I'm a fan.... No thank you to bitter beer. I'm a wheat beer guy, especially in summer.

Shame. There is some good discussion. Hate seeing posts get deleted but sometimes people cant handle mature dialogue and want to pick fights...over the internet, which is utterly cowardly. Im enjoying KBF's and TLB's discussion though. Dont have to agree to respect the dialogue. Be the bigger person and avoid the confrontation, rather than bogging down the thread. Respect the dialogue...

She got completely outclassed. With the exception of approx. 15 seconds where Rousey took her down and had her arm, Holm dominated. This loss really reminds me of Tyson. Bad people around her are bringing her down. They also sent her in there with a terrible game plan.

Nope! Is it too much for you? You don't believe it? It's crazy but true. Don't even need polls. Use common senseSyrians being radical? Can't be. Lol "Don't even need polls. Use common sense." That is what you have just said to support your belief that a majority of a people are antithetical to you and your conception of Canada. That, unknown, is called xenophobia. Nope. Because you neither want to apply common sense or use the procided facts. So you lose. Thanks! Back to my wine. Lol at claiming victory in an internet fight. You should finish him off with an "I'm rubber you're glue" death blow.

Leggett thinks we need to get tougher meaner

Is there an import ol making more than Elimimian? Or SJ Green or Nic Moore? -
Good point. Wylie, Hall, & MB had all never seen a CFL game before being hired by the Bombers.
-
As I said earlier, Burris didn't have multiple shoulder injuries.
-
Dig out the qbs threads from last offseason if you want to call people out for hindsight.

Burris didn't have multiple shoulder injuries. Also, we did try to get Burris. Of course he didn't. He is the most durable quarterback perhaps ever to play in the CFL. Hey we could have used a guy like that. And yes we tried to get Burris. Until he got offered more money, then we gave up. Great. Now Ottawa won as many games this year as we have the last 2 combined but I'm sure glad the Bombers saved that money on Burris. Really helps me sleep at night. I agree about Burris. He was my first pick at the time too. Not sure his situation is comparable to Ray though, which was the point being made in response to your "learning from our mistakes" comment.

Any franchise without an offensive minded President is doomed to failure.
-
Reasons his offense was terrible: 1. Joey Elliot 2. Alex Brink 3. Steven Jyles (was actually moderately effective for only time in his career under Lapo) 4. Broken down Buck Pierce This team has already fired Lapo twice because the offense wasn't good enough, I'd rather not give him a third try. It's most likely a moo point anyways. I can't see him coming here even if we wanted him.
