"Good" but "Stand Pat Sally" vs "Improving"
Backup QB comes in cold and doesn't mount a game-winning comeback. Should be cut immediately. Rookie receiver drops a pass? Cut! Who else can we cut? Maybe if we cut enough players we will never lose another game.

The video is kinda disturbing. This is a man going through a lot of issues.... cocaine abuse is likely just one small part. Hopefully he can get the help he needs.

Game 4 : @ Canucks
If Poolman is actually better than Buff, he would stay in, I have no doubt about that. But that conversation can't even happen yet because he has played one game and while it was very encouraging, he still just played a safe, average-level game. It's nice that he didn't get lit up. But Buff has years of all-star level play on his resume. It takes a lot more than a decent game with 15 minutes TOI to knock a guy like that out of the lineup.

I did. We're talking about colour commentary. What are you talking about?

They do colour? Who? Big difference between analyst and colour commentator.

Game 4 : @ Canucks
Of course it doesn't happen that often because the rookie is rarely better than the vet (even if the fans always insist otherwise). But it does happen. "Murray was better. He earned the job on equal footing.".... wtf... this is exactly what we're talking about. The rookie was better than the vet and won the job while Fleury was injured. Fleury got what... one game once he was healthy?

Game 3 : @ Oilers
He was a rookie. Players do get better over their careers.

Game 4 : @ Canucks
Yeah. You haven't? You're a Pens fan. Remember when Matt Murray became a starter?

I didn't see the game with Campbell on colour. But it is very unusual to have a non-league-veteran doing colour.... in any sport. IMO they are there for their insider experience.

Game 4 : @ Canucks
Pretty sure Poolman played with Toby. Woah! One game. Pump the brakes. That's a fan/media thing. You'll never hear a coach say that.

Wrestling
Hell in a Cell was great. Loved the Sami Zayn swerve at the end. Usos vs New Day was awesome. I will definitely be tuning into Smackdown tonight. Oh yeah....... The Shield is back!!!!
-
Game 3 : @ Oilers
By the end of this season, Steve Mason will be as much of a factor for this team as Chris Mason was. This is Hellebuyck's show. It's only a matter of time before the starter's job is his to keep.

Manitoba Moose
Already seeing a lot more offence from the Moose than we did last year. The roster looks a lot better throughout.

Game 3 : @ Oilers
Helle of a game. Agree with Goalie re: Matthias. Can't expect a perfect pass every time... several of those passes were good enough to capitalize on. But can't argue with the fact he gets in position to get those chances. Good 4th-liner... Hugely improved game by the defence.... great games from Morrissey, Kulikov, and Trouba... real nice to see Poolman play well, too. Not much can be said about Ehlers that we haven't already said... what a stud.... where are our Oiler fan friends who said it wasn't a good contract....?

First one was one of my favourite games. Can't wait for this.

Game 2 : @ Flames
Yeah maybe. But if you go right back to him and he gets shelled again....
-
Game 2 : @ Flames
Mason is the kind of guy you have to be gentle with. He is mentally fragile. I think you put Hellebuyck in and give him a game or two before going back to Mason.

An article from a hard left publication explaining why Liberal biases are correct and Conservative biases are incorrect. Fascinating stuff.

You guys are so clueless. Not once have I denied that humans are causing climate change. But you are so hellbent on your crusade that you develop a strawman and argue against it. Enjoy your high school educations. I'm sure you have plenty of spare time to spend on the internet "learning the truth."

The Environment Thread
No point arguing with two people who sit there sharing articles that agree with their viewpoint and never investigate alternative views. And then claim there is a scientific consensus, where there isn't one, by saying anyone who disagrees must be getting paid off by a corporation.

Game 1 : Maple Leafs
Win the next two and this isn't even a conversation. It's a long season. One game means nothing.

The Environment Thread
One thing is for sure, floods never happened before humans started changing the climate. In fact there was never a natural disaster. Purely a late 20th century thing.
